Dutch Passion Critical Orange Punch.

My first journal on phenohunter!

This will be my second run with critical orange punch. Last run was four from seed and I ended up with one really decent phenotype. This will also be my first run with clones and I'm pretty stoked about that.

I'm growing in a custom made 6 x 3 x 5.5' cabinet using two HLG 350R lights. Medium is coco/perlite and I'm suing GH Flora nutrients with blumats. I love those things!

These were transplanted from 4" pots last weekend and flipped to 12/12 yesterday.

How high is your reservoir above your table?

Everything is looking great.

Subbed for sure!!

Thanks @UncleB!

Nice HLGs and irrigation, never seen or heard of that blumat before, now I gotta research how it works ?

I'm loving the lights so far. This will be my first full run with them. Previously I was using a first gen HLG 300 and two DIY quantum boards.

Blumats rule if you're lazy... and I'm lazy. They're gravity fed, no pumps! I was in DWC prior and looking to make the switch to coco and drip just to make everything simpler. @curious2garden recommended them, best thing I've done for my garden!

I just Love your set up!
That choice of strain says a lot too!
I have a few Orange strains as well, and really enjoy a good citrus punch to the Mellon from time to time lol (Orange Kush makes really yummy hash If that’s of any interest..)
I have a cross of Orange Kush x Sweet Tooth that I’m about to explore, I’ll let ya know if it’s any good!?
Pulling up a stump too..( obviously)..

Sorry for the late update

First week of flower done. I officially love clones lol, everything is so fast compared to seedlings! I've been doing a bit of LST, the donor plant didn't bush out much, it preferred growing straight up. The two clones that took longer to root are starting to catch up.

I'd be interested to see how you do. I'm thrilled how well the critical produces and it's starting to have a bit of a citrusy flavour now that it's been curing for a month.

Looking good! Nice setup, blumats and coco can make trees. Looking forward to seeing them progress.

It took a bit of trial and error to get them dialed in correctly. I've been using blumats for a little more than a year and I'm sold!

I just have a couple of 5x5’s and all kinds of storage and shit to manoeuvre around … Nothing special here really. Not yet anyway.. still waiting on ACMPR application to be processed, then things will change..( soon I hope!)

Exciting! You're going to be able to do so much with that much space... are you thinking perpetual? I'm in a condo and squeezed every inch I could... We have to move to increase my footprint

I'm an ACMPR grower too. I sent in my application in March 21 and got my permit in Sept of 21. How long have you been waiting?

Ive been thinking about blumats for a while now, keep debating on them or an active pump setup. How big is your reservoir and how often do you have to fill it?

Love the set up in general by the way.

You're where I was about a little over a year ago. I went blumat so I didn't have to worry about malfunctioning pumps and the added heat of a sump pump.

My res is 15 gallons and I get about five or six days in flower. I'm usually dumping a gallon or two after a week in veg.

The ACMPR took a lot of convincing with the miss, but she finally came to a clear understanding of what it means to her now.??
The application is filled and the doctors note should be at the post office any day now?? So as soon as we get that, we mail it all in and ‘hurry the fuck up and wait’!…lol

Perpetual has been the venue, but if I had more plant count to work with, I’d crop..
Just because it would be a lot easier to clean after every cycle really.
Where as perpetual growing means shuffling shit around to clean constantly (at least in my situation)
The never ending can be a bit demanding if you have an already busy schedule. But in the ebb and flow.. it’s all about the end product, not so much how you got there!?

Still lots of cheap land in Saskaberry!???
