Good afternoon Phenohunters..

This is my first experience with LED so expect some mistakes along the way. Feel free to criticize my set up. I am open to any changes that will help.

The space is 4X3.5 made from plywood insulated with Reflectix.

I have a hard time working the back of the space due to severe back issues so I constructed a "Cannawheel" if you will....makes things much less painful.

I purchased a HLG 350R and to my surprise it is way brighter than I thought it would be.

I use a 6 inch Infinity inline fan with controller to keep the room comfortable.

FFOF with perlite and some other amendments to use up some old stuff I have laying around.

I'll also give them a shot of Fish and Seaweed from time to time.

I am running the rest of my GPS gear.......Looking forward to some Freak genetics.

Bored stiff waiting for males to appear, once found they will be culled to loosen up the space a little.

Strains are as follows.

5 Texas Chem

4 Snake Oil

1 DubStep

2 Gorilla Punch

Thanks for having a look @jaguarlax I'll do my best to keep you interested.
Cool strains and setup ( the 350r’s are bomb, love mine) , welcome to PH! after u get ur room ran once, that freak gear is gonnea make ur room shine !

hope you find some gems and good luck on ur grow cycle.
Ya I'd be fibbing if I said I didn't want to be running the Freak gear now...already had the others going so it seemed pointless to start over.
I purchased the light due to some of the journals that I have read....It is way brighter than I thought it would be. I have had welders flash burn and you would for sure get one looking at that light.Glasses are on order.
I love your set up. I was planning on something very similar in my head. I ended up with a couple 2x4s with a tarp wrapped around them.
Thanks for the kind words I have been there with the 2x4's and a tarp....it was functional and I would do it again if I need another area in a hurry.
The set up is kind of expensive now with the price of lumber, heck you could make a chicken wire cage and wrap it with Reflectix and have a pretty cool spot. I am very happy with the space, it's very easy to keep control of the climate it holds heat well and I'm sure it will be just as easy to keep it cool considering how cool LED's run.

Nice space man! Just a tip from a led convert. Heat is your friend, since the hlg don’t have much infrared they don’t create as much leaf surface temp, so the room needs to be a bit warmer 80-82 is the sweet spot for me. Good luck and I’m Watching along!!
Love the “cannawheel”. You put casters or something for it to spin?

Thanks for dropping in greenmachine the space works well so far.
The cannawheel has 1 inch casters and spins very well. It is centered on a 3/4 inch nipple nested in a floor flange.

I might have read that in your journal thanks for the info.

Well I take that as a no on the Endo Maxx...there is a web addy at the bottom that takes me to THSeeds but the site seems broken.

Just a little update the males are slow to appear but females are plentiful.

5 of 5 Texas Chem are female, that's a problem I have never had. I am running out of space and still waiting for the Snake Oil plants to show.

The larger of these are the Texas Chem. I will be flipping them to flower soon.

More females than I have room for......what a predicament to be in with no friends close enough to share. I'll try to run all of them but looks like I will need a room stretcher.

White Christmas extreme...started Christmas day and ended on the 29th...30"+ depending where the drift was measured....been digging ever since.
Lost power for most of it we have a generator so nothing was lost.

This picture was taken on the 28th everything seems happy. Very crowded.

I will be creating another flower room to finish them up.
Thanks for having a look.

Nothing high tech like that my friend just a small inverter generator 4000 watt to keep refrigerator and freezer running and the grow nice and quiet.
I also have a larger Champion budget generator that has the juice to kick my well... super LOUD. It is a pain in the arse at times but I get through. My house is not worthy a generac whole house set up like that. I use about 1-2 gallons of gas a day so my setup is economical...needs to be the price of gas in California f'n highway robbery!

With the power issues here in Cali the generator has become a way of life, in summer they shut us down for breezy weather and winter plays out like the picture often enough. My small generator is a WEN 4300 and the Champion is 9000 and will eat you out of house and home. I have lived in this house going on 10 years and this last storm was a dandy fore sure.

I left Cali, Berdoo to be exact in '94 and i could not imagine it today, it was pathetic then.

I hear you brother.....a lot of unknowns when you have spent your entire life somewhere.
We love the Mtn's here and would be looking for something similar where ever we move to.
I actually left by way of a prison stay out of state lol.
A blessing in disguise.
Never looked back, tried Arizona, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Loved AZ but glad we didn't stay, kinda like Cali. now.
Arkansas is beautiful, but we ended up in OK.
