* what breeders do you like for fems?
* % hermies, I'm very interested in this bc you hear a lot of different things
I only buy Fems if it's something I can't get in reg. But that's just me. CSI , Clearwater, In-House. To name a few good ones ?

I like regs, but having some fem beans around is so clutch when time is an issue.

To answer, I used to love my Dinafem beans, but now I’m not sure I have a preference. Take Bob Bitchen… only fem he has is that Chernobyl, but boy is it a winner. I’ll try anyone’s gear really.

Hermie percentage? Not sure exactly. But no more than with regs for me personally.

In all my years growing i can't tell you one single way regs are better or safer than fems.

Not better vigor, not better terps or phenos, same amount of herm chance in my experience.

I guess it just comes down to personal preference. Me personally, I don't care if the seeds are regs or fems. Only care what plants were used in the creation.

Only started dabbling in fems since I joined Ph. It has been a mixed bag. It is hard to judge a strain in the polypolyhybrid world of fems by one seed. Alot of the starting material is itself the result of herm pollenation (ie gg4, chemdog). I only had one plant herm in my all reg days, I also was only growing full sun full season outdoor plants that were fully naturally sexually mature. Sexual maturity is one of the biggest trigger for most of what I have had herm in me in my tents and light dep. Flip young get confusion in a some cases. I really haven't had ANY breeder of fem gear that I haven't had at least one. I usually find some reason to blame my mistakes but I never found these issues with regular seeds, maybe it was just luck.

In my experience I’ve had a decent amount more fems herm than regs and I flower out quite a few more regs as well. I think overall the quality of parents is the most important thing though. If the same cross is made in regs and fems I’d personally get the regs but I feel the majority of home growers prefer fems for one reason or another and I think lots of the hype breeders are catering to that.

That is one of the most accurate things posted on this site.

I've seen so many posts, mostly on places like riu, where someone talks with utter confidence and authority about a poly line, having grown a seed or two.

I've got one IBL mom(reg) that I've had for years, and I still learn new things about her. The idea of growing one plant once and thinking you know it is hubris or naivete, in my opinion.

I've grown a lot of fems over the years. Like @Frimpong said usually just because its a cross i cant get any other way. Honestly, it's been a mixed bag. I have seen more here's than in regs, but again, I think that has more to do with the genetics involved than the reversal process. I've never had a herm from @thenotsoesoteric or @HydroRed (except the detroit lemonade but that was untested) and ive only had one from Useful. Meanwhile, every damn Cannarado fem I run has had at least one plant show intersex traits.

I also find fems veg slower in general when I run them next to regs. But they always catch up so it's never been a major drawback for me.

I was pondering that yesterday about Chemdog; Since the "13 beans found" were found in a bag, it would technically mean Chemdog has a Hermie trait if I'm not mistaken. Is that something that can eventually be recessed through generation of growing them without stress ?

Anyway, as for feminized seeds, I've never had any until joining here, so I'm currently growing a Fem BBHP outside (Stem rub was lovely and can't wait to see how it goes!).

I had seeds in my Detroit Lemonade clones but, I also had no idea what the best way to grow them would be so, that may have been like my fault. so I guess I'm gonna find out how a Feminized seedling does for the first time :)

been using females seeds since they came out some years ago. some cultivator feel that using regular seeds makes/gives a better plant than females seeds. "Time and less work is the reason for growing females _ Some cultivators say that regular seeds are better in keeping a true-er phenotype/genetic from original genetics

Where do I find the bob bitchen seeds? I've never heard of them before and I'm curious about the Chernobyl now ? ?
