Watched a couple vids, looks easy enough to bud wash but looks I have little choices for bug prevention that they are flowering. I will get things to but hold off unless I see anything on them. Then next grow do prevention in veg stage. Also clean room well before next go. The air blowing on that one blows aginst the corner on the room. So hopefully they didnt blow onto another one.
Best bet is to cut off big fan leaves and any other leaves you see with bugs. Maybe try some dawn/water spray on main stem .. idk i’m sure there’s some vids on how to get rid of em without pesticides.

I had one lower yellow leaf but today I have 3, is this due to lack of nitrogen in ff big bloom and tiger bloom? Should I use a splash of ff veg in the next water? Or use blood meal on the top of soil? Or is it normal to see lower yellowing during 6th week and just keep moving and dont worry about it? 20200702_171351.jpg 20200702_171347.jpg 20200702_171358.jpg

I would not sweat the yellowing lower leaves that late in flower. You don't need any kind of nitrogen boost this late in flower. A much bigger concern would be the spider mites. Have you treated the plants with anything yet? I am going to tag @JL2G so he can chime in here on the mites and possible treatments. He is a good soil man and might be able to help. I have yet to battle them but prepared just in case. One thing i have on hand is Dr. Earth Final Stop which can be used late in flower. I know they can multiply scary fast.

Thank you!! I pulled that plant and have been very thorough checking other plants and they have no signs like the infested plant did. I was told dont bring them in and I should of listened. I have not done any bug treatment on any plants I now see why I should on out door and possibly sterilize soil. I used dr earth and had no problems. Bought promix used with seedlings and hello fungus nats. I'm hoping the spider mites didnt spread. Plant was maybe 2 feet away and air blowed away from the others. Also no ants to carry them or anything so I'm hoping.

I'm kinda having some hope in this plant now. At first I was like fuck ima smoke this plant in a week. Looking like it might last 2 maybe 3 ? ready to throw 2 cmh lights in there and see what that will do. Will say they are better looking then anything I imagined, and they are very hard.

I hate bugs. Lol.
If there were, or are bug signs, especially mites, I'd personally I'd go all out on some IPM before they have a chance to possibly multiply.
They hide very well.
Just because they aren't seen doesn't mean they're not there still.
I go with captain jacks dead bug spinosad powder for dusting the soil and pots with.
Can also dust the plants too. It has DE in it as well so a double punch application.
For sprays I add horticultural oil, a bit of neem, and some dawn dish soap. H oil, which is mineral oil, it will melt egg sacs and suffocate live ones of most bugs. Neem gets em too, and dawn is the surfactant to help it all mix up good as well as an IPM. That Dr earth final stop is another one I use. It's just a mix of essential oils that take out bugs.
Yrs ago outdoors I had a bout with spider mites and 3 applications about 5 days apart each, on the plants with the Dr earth final stop took care of it. I also sprayed the entire yard around the greenhouse as well.
Sure don't wanna let em get a foot hold in the door. Lol.

Any thoughts on sterilizing the soil? I figured boiling water would be best, but wont this kill mycrozia aswell?

Spinosad mixed in the topsoil will kill most bugs eggs and such. Can also mix ground up mosquito bits in the soil also.
Can also spread out soil and spray with a pump sprayer H oil. I know folks who have baked their soil too, in the oven.
Those are some ways I've used, and know of others using with success.

I like the spread soil out and spray. Read if baked to long or if goes over 180 it creates toxins in the soil. Is it that big of a worry if watched and dont let temps go over?

Watered this morning with phed water @ 6.3 and about a hour later noticed a lot of new yellowing leaves. Also had a tad lean on the plant so I put stake and tied it back. Also the branch that was leaning the most bent down yesterday so I tied it up to where there is no kink in it. Should I leave the leafs on until they get worse or cut them off? I was going to half feed on Wednesday but think I'm just going to keep doing phed water. Just incase 20200705_100411.jpg

Just curious have you used a scope on the under side of the leaves checking for bugs? Also how far along in flower is that plant? The more details you post about this plant the more someone might be able to help. I would go ahead and remove the damaged leaves so you can monitor the plant better.

It's at the end of 6th week, and I have a loupe and there is nothing. This plant has not been outside it had a plant with mites in the room. This is diffrent from that plant and I caught it do to wilt when it was a couple days before water and it has nothing like that plant had. I would assume a lot of the yellow is do to little to no nitrogen right? Buds seem to be growing good, almost noticable daily. Also the plant is over 5 foot tall and the branch that broke is over 2 foot off the plant. It is the first branch on the plant though. This plant also started life rough af.

Was more curious on to leave the leafs or cut didnt know if cutting would stress the plant?

At the age that it is now probably won't make any difference puling the damaged leaves from the plant. I pull all damaged leaves from my plants no mater what stage as it is a open invitation to bugs leaving dead or damaged leaves on the plant. I think you are on the right track with just strait water at this point and pull the fan leaves as they die.Must be halfway decent genetics if you stressed it early on and it did not herm on you.

Cut off any yellowing leaves so the plant won’t direct any energy towards them and will instead focus on buds. If I were you I would also cut off those tiny buds that are in the picture as they are taking energy/nutrients from bigger buds. Are you giving it flowering nutes?

Sounds good man and ya I think it's starting the home stretch. Also these are bag seed, and I did have 2 hermie on me.

Being first go I figured I'd let it do its thing and try not to mess with it to much but I will trim some off. And yes been using ff big bloom and tiger bloom.
