There's a lot of nice custom work on Etsy for sure! I'm a pipe collector and it's one of my favorite places to score new pieces

found it buy accident - use to have a good list for pipes some that cost $1,000 + depends on the maker of -- didn't realize that pipe making was a "thing" like you said custom work. got another good site ? Peace

I tend to actually score a majority off eBay. There's always people from around the world dropping custom and antiquities. It's a good place to pick up old Chillums from India as well.

Then there's always the local artists market. I have several really awesome Petoskey Stone carved pipes that were made by a local artist who collects each Stone from Lake Michigan shorelines.
