1. It's sterile. Don't have to worry about bugs coming from it.
2. It's very hard to overwater coco, the air exchange is outstanding
3. It's sustainably produced, unlike peat
4. It's pH neutral, unlike peat
5. It's more space-efficient to store than bags

I use a mix a lot like Frim's, except I make it from scratch.
Yep I had to adjust to 6.1 but man I love the added benefits . I try to make stuff fool proof for I can be a fool sometimes lol

Love to share my nutes . Bio live for veg . And tribus and silica prob twice in veg . I feed at flip and at week 4 in bloom w flower girl . Also use mykos and great white when I repot. My soil mix is half cocoa and a half promix and I add about a cup of castings per 2 gallon container. But that’s all , I have fuct around w different mediums and nutes and bottom line is the more u spend w them the better they look ?
I bet the Mykos makes for a good kick off for the flip...
I have never used the great white, but seems there's a few of you all that do..

I have to agree on the more time you spend with them the better.....

Ya the every other day watering is keeping them happy too. Plants don't like dry soil...
Part of the reason I use the soil I do..it drys out faster then shit.....

Anyways Good job over here....?

You pretty much nailed it. Before I switched to all coco/Perl I was using a 40:40:20 mix of coast of main soil: canna coco brick:horticulture perlite. I had the best and tastiest grows to date in thay mix. I just kept having a huge problem with fungus gnats and that coast of main soil so switched to coco Loco but after talking to Frim for awhile now I bought a promix block at my local Walmart and am gonna do a 50:50 with coco Loco and Promix Red bag. Hoping it makes my roots as happy if not happier then the Coast of Main did.
