Grow With Joe

Hey friends, welcome to my grow journal.

For those that I don't know yet, I'm a small time tent grower. I run a single 2x4 for flowering and any seed popping/vegging takes place in a 2x2. I have built myself a diy aerocloner in a 5 gallon bucket and I absolutely love it.

For lighting I run a single HLG 288 v1 in 5000k for my veg tent, it runs right at 100 watts. For my flower tent I have a strip build consisting of 10 Pacific Light Concepts Photoboost strips.

Nutrients vary a bit, but I typically use either Masterblend Tomato Formula or Dyna Gro. I like to use the MB Tomato (4-18-38) and Epsom salt in flower for the lowered N and boosted P/K, if needed I will supplement Ca in the form of a liquid supplement.

I've been growing in coco for years. Recently I've paired my coco growing with flood and drain watering. I love the hands off approach. Pretty soon I will be dabbling in rockwool.

So I think that about covers the preamble.

My current grow is a clone run. I have 3 plants in a scrog configuration. I'm about 10 days in on flower.

Something else to mention is that I've been running a 10/14 flower cycle.

Anyway, here's a quick picture rundown of the current cycle.

From left to right we have:

InHouse Genetics: Banana Cake
Archive Seed Bank: Rainbow Driver
Inkognyto: Banana Peel

That's where we're at. I usually do my updates on Fridays unless something special/unusual happens.

Thanks Capt. And hey man, it's good to see you again. I count you among the people whose posts I missed seeing. :punkrocker:
Yea i missed a lot of you guys as well. Just could not take the drama. I hope some more come over from there and stay. Some did come but did not stay probably not enough activity i guess. It is really picking up and becoming very active. This site owner is bound and determined to have a peaceful place as possible to enjoy the love of the plant. Again nice to have you here.

I did some browsing before I hit that register button, I like the vibe here. I'm not much for drama myself, prefer to do my thing, let other people do their thing, and leave it at that.

Now for a regularly scheduled update. :doge:

Here we are at the start of day 14 of the 10/14 light cycle.

As you can see, the ladies have put on a fair bit of vertical growth. Hopefully they're about done as I'm running out of headroom on the left side.

Day 21 update: part 1

Before we get to the pics...last weekend I did a pump and dump on the reservoir. The girls are now on the Masterblend Diet™. They get no additional N at this point, only the 4 of the 4-18-38 NPK breakdown, MB applied at 3g/gal. They get calcium by way of NFTG Demeter's Destiny liquid calcium. Something new to me is Terpinator, applied at a 15ml/gal rate. And rounding things out is Tribus microbes, I've used this for a while and really like the product.

We're moving along here.

Banana Cake has decided to stretch up past the light, looks like old Joe is going to be breaking some backs.

And some bud shots. The ones with some purpling are Banana Cake, the other is Banana Peel. I didn't get one of Rainbow Driver this time.
