I am happy to announce that all of the Cherry West Bc male hybrids that are currently in testing are being remade as we speak. Some other female pollen recipients have also been added to the line up as well. Bracts are swelling beautifully and have been for ~2 weeks give or take. Time will tell.

I can still taste the cherry limeade on the spent pollen sacs. Wait. What? Haha. Positive vibes...

I have been working on making a Chem D Bc1 for quite some time now. I am looking through a large population of my Chem^3, which is Chem D x Dog Patch or Chem D x [Chem D x (Chem '91 Bc2)], in hopes of finding a nice Chem D leaning male to create the Chem D Bc1.

It got me to thinking though. I am also looking through a nice population of my Hel, which is Dogwalker OG x (Black Triangle F2). I don’t plan on letting go of my Dogwalker OG cut anytime soon (hopefully fucking never haha), but maybe I should look for a male that is similar to the Dogwalker OG cut to create a Dogwalker OG Bc1. Time will tell. Positive vibes…

Around 4 days ago, I was checking all of these females for seed maturity and coming up with mature seeds by checking flowers at random. I was hoping to wait another week or two to harvest the seed crops. Now, there are so many females with seeds busting out of the bracts that I am starting to become concerned about losing a bunch during drying the flowers. My OCD is pretty ridiculous, so a dropped seed, immediately turns into a mystery seed haha. I am not too fond of my hard work and dedication ending up as mystery seeds. Positive vibes…

Yeah mine will not let me run any of my own unknowns. I have way too many seeds to get through that I know for sure what they are and then throw my own work on top of that.

Although, on a semi-related note, I was checking a Chem D cut and a Skunktek Sour Diesel cut (both that had been pollinated with Dog Patch male pollen) for seed maturity and mixed up 18 seeds. I sent them to a few of my test growers to grow out, specifically because my OCD would not let me run them haha, but there has to be some fucking dank in there.

Yeah I feel you; I've got a baggie of seeds marked "No Idea OG" and I give them away.

There's people who don't care what it is, or the genetic makeup of their plants, and everything from Motor Breath to likely a few Cheese beans has ended up in that baggie lol.

I usually do my best to reserve any expectations, especially when it comes to my own work, but any plants in that hybrid that exhibit a nice, even mix of those two parents should be fucking nutworthy. Yeah the (Tropicanna Cookies x Herijuana) x (Cherry West Bc) recently made it through testing, so I made fresh seed stock of that and a few other of the Cherry West Bc hybrids that were tested at the same time. People have been raving about that one quite a bit and @webeblzr said that he gave some cuts of it to someone that is running them outdoors. I would love to see more of my work ran out under the sun and to its full potential.

I was looking at a few ECSD flowers that are drying to get an idea of how many ECSD x (Cherry West Bc) East Coast Cherry Sours seeds that I might have harvested from the entire plant. I saw that one seed was already split and I had quite a few that looked immature and unviable. I thought "fuck it, let's see" and put them all in a wet paper towel. Less than 24 hours later and I have 100%. I guess I am growing those first haha. Positive vibes...
