Were you seeing anything like this?

Me neither. Too hot for all stages, thought they would fix it with 2 part, at least it has made it more flexible. The organic ingredients in the one part were for the most part causing the insolubility "issues". People that didn't run continuious circulation more frequently had issues with it so far as I could tell.I haven't had success following GLNs "schedule" AT ALL.

I don't think their approch to amino acid chelation is actually all that novel. I think it is more or less a mixing procedure on their end. They may disolve the aminos, mix with micros, dry and mill. Based partly on your confirmation I will be spending some time on hydrobuilder to see what I can come up with. They have a liquid amino with micros iirc and elite91 is basically the edta version of what I want to do. I think I can source aminos elesewhere sigma aldrich or spectrum should have them but wont deal with general public. I want an alternative source anyway and the place I get my silica (orthosilicic acid) from has l-aminos too.

My last res landed at 6g/gal 2.35g mca 2.15g cal-nit 0.5g ea. MgSO4, CaCl and MOAB (basically monopotassium phosphate with a sprinkle of monoammonium phosphate).
Will top up with Mills P/K (monopotassium phosphate) to maintain ppm at the target resivoir volume.
I just got a 6lb bag of the part a and probably won't need to crack into it before summer is over tho, guess I have plenty of material to reverse engineer too ?♂️
I could go for kelp, but I am not convinced either is necessary. I think I can stimulate plants immune response using asprin if I want to.I'm going to buy the kelp extract from GLN as well, I've been looking at chitosan oligosaccharide on alibaba.
Didn't have a good feeling about my memory of the elite 91 product so I took a look and remember now cost is why I didn't go with it but its actually a really interisting product to me now.

It has the aminos not micros like I thought.
However there is a trick to getting ortho.
It may just be time in solution idk but I think acidic ph may promote it. In my reading ortho is what is actually assimilated by the plant. Iirc it will make it with sio2.Orthosilicic acid - Wikipedia

Clipped from the intro -
Beside the ortho-silicic acid and its stabilized formulations such as choline chloride-stabilized ortho-silicic acid and sodium or potassium silicates (e.g. M2SiO3; M= Na,K), the most important sources that release ortho-silicic acid as a bioavailable form of silicon are: colloidal silicic acid (hydrated silica gel), silica gel (amorphous silicon dioxide), and zeolites.
1) I'm recently taking choline for digestive health. Id say it works to curb the swings of constipation and diarrhea.
2) zeolites are the materials used for molecular sieves I have been trying for pollen storage.
Just some totally random shit btw.
The one for humans also has fulvic and another acid ICR but must be why I don't have any issues with it pushing pH up like people that use the hydrostore stuff. It is quite a bit less concentrated than the roots stuff but $20 a bottle vs. 90.I think you can dissolve hydrated silica in hot potassium hydroxide and water as well, I don’t know jack about chemistry. I’m pretty sure at least one of these companies does it that way because I’ve seen KOH as an ingredient, either that or it’s in there to stabilize and keep the ph high.
Chat them up about putting version control labeling on their packaging and website please.I've been messaging GLN on IG
My whole reasoning for going with MC is being challenged. I don't think these non-essential aminos are bad for plant development, quite the contrary, the science shows they are better with regard to nutrient efficacy. My issue is the waste and waste product.they're changing their part A micros a little, and adding DPTA iron. Over a pH of appx 6.2 EDTA iron becomes unavailable, DPTA iron remains available, I gather it's used in aquaponics.
edit: jacks uses EDDHA iron, available up to pH 9.
