My favorite concentrate of all time is hash. I had a plant male flower right up when i first started going and started making hash. StickyGreen and BajaBeaches had tutorials and lots of advice and they started me on my hash making adventures.

It is also the safest concentrate to make...you cant even burn your hand on the rosin press !

Someone mentioned Frenchy Cannoli and it stepped up my hash making and the quality of product is incredible. Even if it is just a pile of larf and popcorn i dont want to trim.

Now i just grab the beauty top buds for my stash and put the rest in the freezer....when i get a washer full i run it. The fridge makes ice and i get 2 jugs of RO water ready from the machine and in 90 minutes im done.
i use a 25 73 120 160 and 220

25 and 160 goes in edibles. 73 and 120 I dry and smoke a bit of each. If its GREAT they go together.....

chop chop chop...dry on the mantle and in about 2 days its smokeble terpy fire.

After 5 to 7 days i can flatten it in a puck.

Then i did the frenchy cannoli bottle decarb but i dont drink wine so i used a 3/4 quart ball cylinder jar and put boiling water in that ....used an oven mit and start rolling it...folding it rolling it folding it until decarb....

Rolled it by hand (super clean hands) for 15 minutes while watching tv and Voila...into a jar to cure for 60 days and then i will really have something.

30 grams of 73 to 160 micron hash.

the flavor and aroma are pumpkin spice and sandalwood with a fruity backnote...a lot of punch and purple dream...LVTK ORANGEs Lemons...everyone in the pool.

Epicly strong and wonderful.

I usually flatten out a little disk in my ceramic pipe....light it up and watch the top of the hash melt into liquid as the terpy wonderful thick volumious smoke fills my lungs and my mind wanders filled with wonder and delight.

I made close 34 grams of hash from seeded Northern Lights using Frenchy’s method and it’s amazing. I rolled it into a bunch of 3g and 4g temple balls, wrapped them each in cellophane, and let them cure for 2 month before tasting it. I still have some sealed up that have been curing since last October. Shit melts right in the palm of your hand.

Good lil write up @OldG I use the Subcool small batch hand crank 5 min stir method bubblebags the 220 and 160 as work bags then 120 sometimes look in see what i got mostly still stalk and plant material save for food then i pull what i call a 45 all scrape it dry it crumble it dry it more heat press it to a glob then smoke it before i can cure it every time usually run it a second go since its such a short stir and beat it up

This is a little hand rolled hash I just made... not as pretty as yours haha... I used to just smoke dry sift but recently decided to switch it up

I've been reading up on Frenchy Cannolis methods and am going to try some soon...

Also, I clearly need to make more hash... mine never lasts for 60 days... soon as I make it I'm like... self control is for chumps, break out the bong

it doesnt take long...15 minutes maybe? I am usually pretty baked when i do it so it is more tactile than time.

You get a feel for how it looks and smells and its ready.

Can you just melt the hash with your butter or whatever, and decarb by just letting the butter slowly stew, so to speak? A couple hrs or so? Asking for a dumbass FOAF

This is what mine looked like after multiple folds and rolls with the bottle. I probably spent 20 minutes or so rolling it flat, folding it back into a brick, and repeating.

Best one yet... my second attempt was worse than the first... still not melting enough, but I'm starting to think I need to sift my kief through a finer screen or something... I am just using a trim bin

Yeah, but actually less than the hand press stuff Ive been making... It's a 150 micron screen apparently... thinking a couple different sizes so I can mess around with it some

Thanks for putting me on to this! I never really like smoking the straight up sift, and this makes it way better. I think I will be learning the bubble bags next chop.

if you want to learn to do it well, i highly recommend watching frenchy cannoli or dank duchess videos on youtube. frenchy is a master hash maker. I tried some of his double cherry limeade temple balls at the emerald cup. mind blowing depth of flavor and high.

I just love to here Frenchie talk about hash.

I often roll a big hash doob all screwed up looking like frenchies before i watch them.

I make better hash because i watched the videos and applied his techniques. BIG improvement.

This turned out to be pretty fantastic hash. I say that a lot.

What really blows my mind is the complexity of flavor that develops when you tightly wrap it and jar it away for 30 or 60 days.

The gummiest hash i ever made. It still pulls like heated glass into a beautiful noodle. Subtle as a 10 pound maul.

But its gone today. Maybe TODAY is a good day to unload a bunch of material from the freezer. Frozen green buds in abundance and its making my ice kinda funky. I like it but OTHER people in this house dont like dank ice. I dont often use ice but when i do....its DANK

Found a thrip yesterday...waged war on them with horticultural oil and bronners soap....emulsified in a blender and then pump sprayed on EVERYTHING.

Spray underside of EVERY leaf bottom to top....then top side of every leaf top to bottom (Those flood and drain trays prove their worth daily).

Until SATURATED. So wet they are drooping over. I will look it over in great detail shortly but all i see now is the odd melted brown thrip. So tomorrow they get Jadam Wetting Agent...Second verse same as the first !

I was worried it might hurt the girls but they seem to really like it. I just keep the concentrations low enough to not cause harm and spray right before lights out.

Once weekly #1 on friday and JWA on Wednesday
#1 Silica-Aloe-Neem-essential oil (in bloom i will cut the essential oil and neem).
#2 Silica and essential oils
#3 neem cake and kelp (veg) #3 in bloom will be Bronners soap and Essential oils (Cinnamon and lemongrass)
Jadam Wetting Agent (JWA) ...on EVERYTHING

If i continue to see thrips i will spray every other day as i have been doing. rotating the #1 to #3 as i go.

The next round in veg is looking a lot better. They are growing with fatter stalks and nicer leaves than i have seen in a really long time.

Starfighter, HAOG, Sweet Island Skunk (next generation seeds Fem) and a pair of County Line Croquenbouche. These are just sitting in the tray to keep them off the ground. I love how all of them are growing and the structure is looking great. I did an up pot of a Schwaggy HAOG to a 9 litre fabric pot and they have a long way to go to be root bound. I will let them sex out in these if i can.

Even the plant(s) that i find a thrip on are looking better. And clean plants....make it a lot easier to find shit.

The rooms needed no watering. The 2 litre pots in veg and seedlings are daily but just a sip.
