How long do syringes last? I activated the bar fridge i had kicking around to hold some multipacks of benny bugs.
I am as excited to grow these as the first time i popped a bean in my new 4 x 4. I am glad for the motivation and I think i am embarking on my pshyconaut journey.
And a variety... i really believed a cube was a cube as a cube. And as i said...that is complete bullshit.
It is like saying i smoked a sativa and they suck....sure man...sure..

3-6mo in a dark drawer, 6-12mo in the fridge
I was wondering about the life of the syringes. I bought a spore print and made my own for my first time. I figure I know how old the syring is when I use it vs one thats already been sitting somewhere waiting to be bought. I just inoculated like 2 days ago so well see how I did in a week or so. ?

Those look great! Have you tried both those and the maza's you just harvested before? How do they compare?
Man I hope my bag fully colonizes. Its at like 40% or feels about that. Next stuff I'll get is some liquid culture. Them melmacs have peaked my interest.

I’ve done b+ and golden teacher before I liked the golden teacher a little more but I’ve Ted great things about the Mazatapec’s so tomorrow me and the wife and 2 friends are all gonna lemontek them it’s gonna be awesome

Shoeboxes for me. I don't grow a lot, maybe once a year at this point just to supply myself. But I find there isn't much easier than Coir/verm/ with some worm castings in a shoebox. For personal use with some extra to share with friends, couldn't be much easier. I use wheat or rye berry for spawn, sometimes millet. Thankfully I have a source for pre-made clean, productive agar cultures.
I just got into it last year and grew some Golden teachers, some Amazonian and also Koh samui super strain, which is my favourite of the 3 in terms of the buzz. Very warm, very visual. The Amazon's mess with my head to much, too psychological, like a bad edibles trip. Golden teachers are meh...
I also collect Liberty caps locally right about this time of year. See all sorts of cool mushrooms growing wild here in the PNW.

Yeah, I did that last night. I did it last Saturday too but I was too gentle so did it again last night with a bit more aggression lol. The top half doesn't feel solid so hoping its all good.
