Need suggestions for 1:1 strains

I could use a little help if anyone has any info. I guess the title says it, but the TLDR is below.

My mother is 77 and she just got her Virginia medical card. She is looking to relieve joint pain and depression. Smoked with my old man but hasn’t smoked since the 80s, and nothing like today’s shit.

Anyway, I went with her to the dispensary yesterday and all I can say is what a bunch of overpriced corporate bullshit. I need to just dedicate a space to her in my grow room. It probably won’t even have to be very often, given that quarter doses of these gummy‘s and tinctures seem to be plenty for hours.

so, I am looking for suggestions on good 1:1 strains that can be grown indoors. I am a very big believer in photoperiod stuff, but in this case extra points for anything that might be feminized. I’ve never really messed with edibles, but I guess it’s time for me to learn how to make some of this shit. In the meantime, she can vape the flower.

Agreed wholeheartedly, my girl loves it, and so do I. Doesn't really get me high per se, but it sure has the pain killer effects for lots of things that ail me. I'd like to know where it can be found in seed as well. I've looked and not found it, though I am a bit computer illiterate. lol

If you don't plan on doing huge batches then look into the Levo II infuser. The app for it sucks, but you can set it up from the front panel, and it does everything (decarbs & infuses) all inside a little teflon coated pot and then dispenses the infused oil/butter/whatever when it is done. It makes cleanup simple, too. I use mine primarily to infuse cocoa butter and then melt that into chocolates.

Thats where I found the OH I tried, it was from an in house grow at a local dispo. Was trying a few diff strains to see what else my girl might like, she doesn't smoke much, and most herb is too mind bending for her. lol. That OH though it didn't really get me head high, it sure gave me some focus to get shit done in the office, some go getter smoke. When I asked about seed availability, or where they got them from, I got the "I dunno, not sure who I could even ask" reply.

I dunno, Mosca does claim that in the strain description. It is very tasty and potent, I couldn't claim i noticed any CBD effect. I was too blazed. Great smoking herb though.

I don't ever believe thc , cbd content numbers. Subjective to the individual labs testing them id guess. Then they roll with the highest number supplied to them.

Forgot to mention you might want to check out Hoku Seed Company. I don't know if he has any 1:1 seeds, but it would be worth sending Floyd a message through his site, or through Instagram (@hokuseedco) to see what he suggests. He focuses on medicinal CBD & CBG but I know some of his stuff also has small amounts of THC in it. I grew out some of his Charlotte's Box CBD and it's really nice. I grew 4 plants and wound up with two phenos. The tall pheno had long spears for colas and it gives me a nice calming effect with no high at all. The short bushy pheno had fat fox tailing buds and it has just enough THC (or THC-A) in it that I get a mellow high off of it if I smoke 0.5g or more.

Strain wise this one is highly crossed and has great terp profile . It’s just a 10-14 week strain
