Shared this on Instagram earlier and thought it would be good info for anyone that does any outdoor gardening..

You can get 6 foot dog-eared cedar boards for $4/ea. at Lowe's. An 8 foot board - a little thicker, mind you - is $32 at Lowe's. Bought the fence boards, cut the dog ears off, and boom, new raised bed. 6 boards for a 6 foot bed, plus a couple little 2x4 pieces for support. Really stoked to get some soil in it and some friends going out there.

So I run a fence installation company and this is something that's always baffled me.... I can get cedar for WAY cheaper from my fence suppliers than a lumber yard, even at similar grades.

All of my raised beds are made from cedar fence scraps and leftovers. In fact, I'm building a greenhouse out of old fence parts I've pulled off of jobs (as well as a bunch of scavenged windows)

This is a great tip for people looking for an inexpensive material for raised beds.

Sounds like me. I grab any wood scrap I can find and will build garden stuff out of it. Lol. Thanks!

Man lumber is insanely expensive right now. And they are blaming it on a beetle infestation in British Columbia 10 years ago! All I see is demand, because of crazy low interest rates, why wouldn’t they inflate lumber prices? I have a feeling we are about to see more inflation in the next few years then we have seen in a while! On a side note, Your greenhouse and beds are awesome man!

Guys, dark chocolate from @Dino Party looking really happy in the new raised bed. Hoping for some stink from these. Large one is a white thaiger x wilson from Masonic. She's hefty, just topped her to keep her short. Third up is purple kush from MSNL. Really stoked on this one, she has some serious bush going on, and after defoliation last week she just exploded. Doubled in size. Looking like some happy, fish shit-eating girls. My fave.

Hey, everyone! Just a quick show-off post. I pulled my sundae driver out to snap a few shots and thought I'd share. She should be a good one.

I suck at this. Here's a little gsrdne update for June.

Raised beds going nuts, greenhouse plants blowing up. The BIG one in the pot is a dried out peach tester I'm growing from Pottbelly, monsters in the beds are some Macky Mota gear and Dino Party. In the tent, we have a cross tester im growing out, it's a cross between toontown's purple titties and blue hawk 44 auto. The other two are purple kush from MSNL and a white thaiger x wilson from Masonic.

Aaaaaaand I don't have a pic, but just started 12 babies, including some white rhino from Seedsman and widow from MSNL, Orangeberry smoothie and LVTK from Esos, and some fake shake from my dude Dino Party

Also got some new macro shots recently.

Hope everyone is having a lifted day. Or stoned day. Or just a day with weed involved. I think that covers my current sitch.

Dump of photos from the last week or so.

The white thaiger x wilson is doing better than I even expected. Looking super nice.

The other one is a purple titties x blue hawk 44 auto tester I'm growing for NorthernGrowz. Absolutely blown away by this strain. I have one inside and one out, the structure is amazing, and the smell reminds me of the old hazy/pinesol scent I loved back in the day. Should be a great smoke.

Threw some random garden photos in, too. Including a tomato hornworm I came across that made me forever terrified of tomato hornworms. That mouth is truly the stuff of nightmares.

Hope everyone is doing well!
