Answered possibility of adding a chatroom feature?

Like, that would be cool to have I think, if not too hard to implement. just a simple chatroom, no need for anything fancy or that saves conversation once it scrolls off the screen. any thoughts on this?

Yes. We have thought of the implications as well. The thought is that it has the potential to take away from people posting in the forums. If it were to be used as a means of general bs and quick communication, then it's definitely worth a shot. As long as it's not over used and begins taking away from the purpose of the forum.

I found chat to be more for the day to day chatter and less to do with anything the community would like to partake in or read about. A lot of how was your day and what are you smoking now. A few general questions pop up from time to time that may or may not be useful content for the forum, but generally speaking chat rooms are for quick conversation and to pass the time when bored.

A chat box might be nice as well.
