Psychobilly Seed Spread

Just an observation...If you punched the hole(s) on the bottom of your cup Id put them on a baking warming rack so they can drain properly. The soil looks pretty wet for a seedling. Could just be the picture though. Cant wait to see what you get!

I'm not sure if I mentioned how I do the cups or not now that you mention it LOL. But yeah all the cups do get some holes poked for drainage reasons. The dirt may still be moist, because those Root Riot moss blocks are pre-moist and generally stay that way for a bit before they start to dry, but the seedlings haven't been watered since the day after they were put in the tent, and it's usually not very much (A few tablespoons of water as those moss blocks keep moist as stated, so I don't really do a full watering until they dry up) now that I'm looking at that picture though I see what you mean LOL yeah they do look wet though it may just be the image too, as it's been a few days and I haven't watered them at all (The dirt was fresh from the bag and already a bit moist as well) and the block is put in the cup after a seed has been added, and then once it's in there, more dirt gets added in to fill it in. When they're this small I don't check on the roots too often at first either (by check the roots I mean simply pulling the clear cup up a bit with a visual inspection to see if any roots have made it to the sides yet).

Today I'm over at my Mom's house until this afternoon so I'll be helping her out for a bit,and then heading back to do water changes on the soaking seeds.

GDP is showing a taproot on all seeds as of yesterday!

BBHP looks like it's starting to open too!

Blueberry Muffin X Blue Cheese (I think I'm gonna nickname this something..... Cheese Muffin? Blueberry Cheese Danish?? LOL) is doing well too :)

Chocolate Cheese is totally sunk now

The new Chem D seeds are doing good and two of them sank now too.

GMO we have all but 2 seeds showing a taproot so they may get transferred today ! Which is good because I need more space to put cups with other stuff in them!

The Wife has been talking to the Gelato #33 telling it she wants it to be a girl LOL, it's one of her favorites and that seed, came out of a bud from a dispensary bag last year on her Birthday when she had Covid-19, and it's the only seed we ended up getting of that one, but it's sprouted and doing good :)

If the GMO can be put in cups today I should be able to probably put GDP in cups too which will give me space for two more strains so I can finally get FCC going along with..... Whew like 10 others ? LOL.

As I've said before, I'm not as concerned with Blue Cheese, as this will be my 4th year growing it (My first clone ever was a Blue Cheese and I've grown it every year since) and last year it was the first week of May before we stuck Blue Cheese outside, and then took clones off that after it was big enough, and those clones may not have vegged very long outside, and been small (Including the pot, they were chest high for the tallest ones and balls high for the smaller ones) but they still filled two jars each so I'm not too worried about that, so I've been trying to get ones going that I'm not as experienced with so that way if they take longer, they have time before it gets cold outside again.

Grand total I think we'll have 18 strains running, and then since we're allowed to have like 24 - 36 plants (Cards and all so we can keep like 12 per card) so any extra plants will get filled in with clones of ......Ahh shit I'll have to see LOL! I know Blue Cheese will have Clones, but the rest I'll have to decide LOL. The main ones are going to be the ones that provide medicinal benefits, and the ones I feel like they will (That Black Lime Reserve is most likely going to help with sleep issues so I want to be sure we've got a seedling and clone at least) but we still have some wiggle room.

We may take Hawaiian Sunshine out for this year to make more room, and may also not do Strawberry Diesel cause.... I've got like 4 or more Cheese and Chem strains ? LOL I love Strawberry Diesel AND I love Hawaiian Sunshine, but when it comes down too it, I'd Molotov Cocktail those plants to make room for Chem and Cheese strains haha.

Ok, turned the light up a bit since it looks like the sprouts are stretching and I had the light set a little low because some strains burn easier in my experience (the POS light is for Motor Breath because this one I'm using burns it so bad it grows sideways away from it even when it was far away) so bloom was on 0, and Veg was set to about 55.

Yeah.... lol so I turned the light up a little, and if that continues I'll turn it up again, but that's literally the only seed of Gelato #33 that we have so I don't want to burn anything. I fried some Motor Breath seedlings last season and this little shitty light we have put aside is the only one that doesn't fry them lol.

Anyway I think there's some cups to fill when we get back! May even get some other strains started.

@Psychobilly hey i want to let you know you may get some mutant growth on the blue cheese S1 but they will take off
this was a tester of the blue cheese it grew stunted and bam it grew nice and big i didn't top her either :punkrocker:
Oh bro I'm so not worried about that, it's legit my all time favorite strain ever lol. Even little clones I take off my hermie seeds from the buds I grind to smoke just do wonderful! The bud size on Blue Cheese is just amazing and even when a clone last year almost didn't make it, it still was a beauty :) thank you so much!

I don't ever top Blue Cheese, as I really love having that massive cola on top. Biggest one I've ever grown was one of my hermie seeds this passed season:

I know topping a plant can lead to more branches, and with a screen some great production but I haven't ever actually topped a Blue Cheese as I simply love how the growth structure is not unlike a Christmas Tree lol.

That Blueberry Muffin X Blue Cheese has sunk to the bottom and I'm imagining smelling it lol!

Ok, seeds aren't going in soil yet; I'm getting tired and the root growth isn't really big yet, so water changes happened and the Chem D has sunk, so hopefully those will get a root soon. One didn't; a broken one, so that can be tossed.

Seedlings are looking good and hopefully a female for Gelato #33 lol.

Gonna smoke the blend I did a bit ago; Blue Cheese, Strawberry Diesel, and Skywalker. So far that's pretty nice.

Light has been turned up as the little seedlings are stretching so I'll end up burying the evidence of my fuck up..... I mean "putting them up to their necks in soil so the stem can root".... lol.

Chem D is showing a little Taproot on the new seeds and I tossed the broken one.

BBHP has started to show a root!

GDP seeds were put in blocks and cups today and are now in the tent.

3 GMO seeds have been placed in blocks as well and are now in there too!

Chocolate Cheese has started to show root too!

Blueberry Muffin X Blue Cheese (I think I'm gonna start calling this Cheese Muffin lol) has started to open and show the Taproot as of today!!!!

Whew! Can't wait to jam my face in these!

All but like ONE of the GMO seeds that have been planted are starting to grow upwards out of the dirt :)

A GDP has sprouted as well :)

I didn't have many updates this weekend as I was doing stuff basically every day.

Today the BBHP and "Cheese Muffin" will be probably getting planted as well :)

All the GMO and GDP have sprouted and I noticed they seemed to be trying to stretch so the Wife adjusted the light to about 70% now.

Now to start soaking more.... lol! 20220412_170410.jpg

Nice- goodl luck, man!
You gearing up for the great outdoors, or the inevitable indoor traffic jam to come?? Heheh
Thanks bro :)

Mainly outside; The back garage this season is out of commission so the three tents back there belonging to my soon to be Father in Law can't really be used, so that tiny one in the pictures is what I've got to work with, but in like 3 weeks or less, Michigan Weather should be good enough to start moving them right outside once they're started up.

I haven't soaked the Blue Cheese yet, but I'm not too worried; Outside here in the Mitten, Blue Cheese is generally the very first thing done, and Chem D was right there with it this passed season, so I'm gonna get seeds of those going soon, but I'm wayyyyyyy less worried. Last year I had my Blue Cheese plants outside by the first week of May, and I didn't even take clones until one of them was big enough that I felt comfortable doing it, and so even with the 5 clones coming late in the season and not getting all that big (The biggest was up to maybe my chest including the pot, and the smallest were.... My crotch in height, including the pot... LOL) and those 5 teeny clones still filled two jars each give or take. And by jars, I mean a few of the jars are those "Pickled Red Hot" jars LOL. Like half a pound fits in those depending on strain and bud density.

If you ever find yourself on this side of the Mitten we can blaze and you can have some Blue Cheese seeds for growing, but not breeding (They're from buds I grind and smoke but since I can't breed yet anyway, they fill jars all the same).

I interested to see what Fiona's Chem Cake will do in Sunlight; There's only like 3 strains that I've had both indoor and outdoor where it was all clones of the same plant, and what I noticed was that the indoor started out more scented, but after a good curing the difference was nuts; Outdoor done right and cured right, so far at least, has always been better. Smell and taste were better, and I mean bud size is generally way bigger too, but bud size can depend on strain, where as the smell and taste can be altered a lot easier.

I do admit though; Having a tent setup inside the bedroom has me thinking "Well it may be small but I could start some plants in there and have a batch ready of something I want to try a LOT quicker" LOL.

Still have a few Cheese strains to get started too other than Blue Cheese, which I'm just beyond excited about that haha.

Well, both Grease Monkey seeds have sank as of today.
Motorbreath too.
One Chemgopher has sank
One Black Lime Special Reserve F5 has also sank

From what I've read about that Black Lime and of course the genetics of Chemgopher I'm pretty excited!

Seedlings are putting on the green and a few were stretching again so I turned the light up again to see if that can be rectified now.

I find myself already trying to sniff the air in the tent..... lol. I'm keeping them at an "approximately 14 hour schedule" which I could say is "because I didn't hook up the timer yet" but "because Sunlight duration changes all season" sounds like a very scientific excuse lol :)

Grabbed a new blunt brand to try: 20220413_191210.jpg

Haven't tried it yet but the package back it's pretty funny.

Well, checked this morning before leaving (Over at my Mom's house right now, Aunt is in the Hospital and about to have surgery and my Mom hasn't been here much this week and her floors need to be scrubbed and some other stuff needs to get done so, here I am LOL) and the soaking seeds are doing good; Did a water change on some of them before I left, and checked the Tent; Looked like one of the newer placed in seedlings was starting to sprout a little, so we'll see how that goes when I get back later this afternoon.

I'm starting to notice that Motor Breath is apparently the only strain I run that can't be put under a decent light, because this light fried some Motor Breath Seedlings last season so once the two seeds I have soaking of that are ready, we already have the small light by the tent that doesn't fry them ready to go for just that strain..... It's weird and I've never had a problem with the others.... All the other seedlings were stretching a bit and I've went from like 50 or 60% on that light to almost 100% now and no burning or anything so it must be just Motor Breath LOL.

Today I'm Hoping that one of the newer soaking seeds starts to open up and show some Taproot, and we still have some room in that little tent, and with the timing as of right now, they're doing good, and last year the first week of May is when I stuck Blue Cheese outside and let it run, so being the second week of April right now, shouldn't be as much of an issue on space as I thought it could be;We haven't had to clean and move a tent from the back up front so far, and if everything keeps going well, I should be able to stick these plants outside once they're too big for the tent.

I have like 4 or so more strains set aside that are going to be the next batch soaking (Fiona's Chem Cake, Cheesing, Blue Cheese, Blue Cheese X Mikado) and I really want to get one of the Sin City Juice going now that we've put Strawberry Diesel and Hawaiian Sunshine to the side lines (so we have room for all those) so Hopefully I'll be able to run at least one of those.
