Vargus was King when I be little and I favored David Mann as well.

Oh bro! I LOVE MAD Magazine!! Used to have a book that had a bunch of their stuff in it and still have a .... single copy of one left lol. I lost all that after the ex and I were split.

50s were complicated for me as a decade; I was born in 1982, and on one hand, the cars, the music, the Penn Reels.... lol all stuff I love ! Detroit PD beating people back then though I think I'd get shot lol.

Well, @Psychobilly , you got me digging in the digital crates, trying to scratch a psychobilly itch now. Figured I’d move it here, not to derail your grow thread too much.
I didn’t find my RHH or Tiger Army (must be on an older HDD) but I did find some slightly darker stuff from the same era ...
I had almost forgotten about these guys, but I’m now listening to some Jay Munly, Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers, Angry Johnny and the Killbillies, and .357 String Band.
Some darker, southern shitkicker sounds, for sure!
Ya got me all nostalgic, jamming this shit now, so thanks!
Hmmm...Classic Chevy, check...Bully dog, check...kiddie pool and hose, check...weed....of course...Liquor, Beer, and Wine, checkaroo...
...I think the only thing I’m missing for a helluva Psychobilly photo shoot is a Burning Angel...

So, kinda had the boobie-squeeze thing at an Oklahoma strip club, but facing her...and almost suffocated from trying to laugh so hard with a mouthful of sternum, and ears plugged by titties. (Breathing through the ears is helpful underwater, but thighs and boobies can make it challenging)
I’ll never forget that club, not only for that nearly erotic asphyxiation, but for the innovative genius who decided it would be a great idea to mount a steering wheel to the ceiling for the gals....it was!

Don’t know how I haven’t heard them yet, but I’m diggin em...."I like Whiskey" just might be anthem worthy heheh

I actually just got back from a whiskey bar with a buddy. Motor City Gas, in Royal Oak, if you’re in the neighborhood.
Had a couple nice mixed summer foo-foo drinks, and a tasty smoked bourbon.
The first drink was some mix of vanilla, lemon, chocolate, and cherry flavors, but I wouldn’t begin to imagine what was what without looking at the menu.
One was an Orange Julius style smoothie drink, which was delicious, and would’ve gone even better if I could’ve sparked some Orange Julius up with it at the bar...still good though, especially today.
And to grow my chest hair back, I finished with the "Dirty Bird", which was the smoked bourbon, I believe.

Anyway, yeah, I’m diggin both, and pretty sure I’ve at least heard of them, if not heard it without knowing.

Yeah I do like those guys quite a bit; I found them one day on YouTube and thought it was funny as shit LOL. I had to actually google the members of the band because when you said that I was like "Wait is that RHH??" But it's actually not him, though the singer Taz DOES sound a LOT like him for sure.

I think I've been to Royal Oak (I've gone adventuring all over the place looking at different record stores that used to exist in our parts.....Rockabilly's is sadly gone, which was on Hall Road near that giant ass mall) smoked Bourbon sounds nice I do like some Bourbon!

Demented Are Go is easily my favorite of the Psychobilly bands; I imagine if I got to meet Sparky the singer, we'd get into shenanigans together haha.

Bro you notice his vocals are like a Punk take on Tuvan Throat Singing ??? I would sit and listen to those albums of Demented Are Go and be like "How is he doing that ???? WTF??" And one day I heard "The Hu" and they have that throat singing in their music and I was like "Oh shit Sparky does this!" LOL.

There's actually a pair of Doc Marten's Boots that have the Shadow Crypt art work on them!!



I'd LOVE to have those but they're rare from what I can tell.

Had the second row left side one in your pics too.

Gone with the ex. Gave up the Vargas, and 98% of the other artwork to keep my tools. Lmfao. Fair trade imho, I love my tools more.


But at least I kept the van gogh art. Lol

Framed them up myself, with the tools I wouldn't let her have. Lol.

Van Gogh is literally my all time favorite painter!!! I have reprints of some of his work, and Starry Night is probably my all time favorite painting. I have a Book with his paintings in it too. LOVE him!
