Reversing AlienOG

Getting ready to reverse this here cut of AlienOG.
I see people here n there asking questions about reversing. So I figured I'd make it's own thread to document for anyone who is interested in the reversal process...sooo, here we go! ?

*Note* This will only be my second reversal to date, so I'm not posting/speaking with much authority here, but thought we could all learn something, together, from the experience!

Without further ado...Here she is, current state

Ahh, those infamous 3 finger leaves! She just started throwing a couple 5s up top (I've never seen her with anything higher than that) so seems like the peak time in health to get it on!

I'll be using the reversal kit by Twenty20

... I'm only using this one over HydroRed's simply because I've had it longer and I'm a firm believer in first in-first out...

Here's a peak at the progress of these plants...

Let me break down what were looking at here.

The one on the left, in the solo, is just what it looks like...a malnourished cutting in a solo.(I have 5 more in this current state to follow). The one in the middle saw her 1gal pot roughly two weeks ago, give it take a few days, and it's greening back up. (I have 1 more in this state, and 1 more about a week behind that). The one to the right is the target plant for reversal and has been in her 2gal fabric pot for roughly a month now, give or take a week And she's looking good, soo...it's time baby!!

The one in the middle will be the target plant for the initial S1 pollination. The ones I have in the same/similar state will get some different pollen(s) for some new Alien reg creations. I'll likely hit another 1-2 of the smaller cuts for a bigger S1 bean supply... Cuts from same mother receiving pollen from same donor....(on the outside... We look different... But the inside...we same-same!!) And, the extra Alien fem pollen will be used in a few future fem creations.

Alright, enough talking out of me. Time to get to mixing and spraying!

I'll start her treatment tonight, keep her under veg lights/times for about a week or so, then into the flower jungle she goes! ?

Putting me to work on my first day... sheesh!!..and I don't get paid for this... And from a grower that's been growing since before I lived in diapers... That's pressure, but here's my attempt to impress ?

Reversal spray. Step one.

Reversal spray!? I'm being a dick on that one... But really, colloidal silver and sts are the reversal solutions I'm aware of... This one is sts.. Just got mixed up into solution tonight.

Step two... Spray target plant with solution.

She got wet up in the tub!!

Sprayed her limbs, up n down... in about a week or two, she should be starting to show signs of reversal... Then the show will be on the road?

Yo @MO_Grow , I’m subbed up for this one. I’ve got a couple alien og x lemon tree plants going and one of the two phenos is straight up alien og, same lanky ass structure but some of the nicest golf ball sized and bigger dense frosty nugs. Earthy, musky stank. I’ll snap a pic and post it up here for comparison if you don’t mind. ✌?

This is a great idea for a thread. I'm happily harvesting seeds right now from a successful Lemon Tree reversal, and looks like I;m just a few days from getting some reversed pollen from a sweet Black Mamba clone, and have Purple Banana Cake a week into getting sprayed. I had a bunch of failed attempts and finally gave up on Banana Punchsicle, so I'm too familiar with failure.

My point ... sorry ..... is that making fem seeds, for me at least, is stressful. Whether using STS or CS, the receiver always looks like hell after a few days, and I generally assume the worst until those pollen bumps finally start appearing - despair replaced by a ray of optimism. I'd never document an attempt, so hats off to ya Mo.

First question: did you spray the entire plant, or just the grow tips? Are you targeting a particular time to spray, like just before lights out? Go get 'em, amigo !

LemonTree reversal?? That name rings a bell and holds resonance for sure!

My last reversal looked like shit, at first, for a week or two also before they turned around. But, at the same time...I fucked up...the spray and then lights on before plants can dry,.can/will fry the shit out of em.

No, not just one. Last time I did it. It took a few sprays, but not many, before it started showing...just 2 maybe 3 weeks tops after first initial spray... Once-twice a week.. It's not a long process when it comes down to it.

Sisters, and while both were damaged, one is only slightly damaged and has developed what looks will be usable dust in a few days. The other took it harder, and though some nice sacs formed down under, the plant is mostly trashed. Same clones, same regimen - can't explain the results, but will most always use multiple spray receivers going forward to increase odds for success.

Ya, those looking a bit crispy. The CS, and sprays in general, don't take too well to lights. Try to make sure they are completely dry after application before putting them back under. A good trick also might be to give them a hose down with pain water, after application, before putting back under lights. That's how I'll go about it this go and we'll see how it turns out?

Yes, it's been years since I made fem beans...nice idea to put this up...after all we are all just a bunch of fuck ups...so none of should be embarrassed as were all mostly in the same boat.
I'm going to buy some of Reds reversal spray to use for when I find something from Tony Green to reverse...just for myself...and anyone else wanted them...not for market.
