In Bloom
Hello all! I wanted to give a quick update. Don't really have much to post at the current time because they are autos so that is in my auto post. We are soaking beans in a couple days because it is currently 7 degrees with the wind chill and our basement is cold and only 21% humidity. We are wrapping the walls with plastic sheeting and covering up gaps and cracks in the old house and going to give it a go! Christmas shopping is almost complete but momma does the best wrapping job, and I'm currently on a 24 day stretch between both jobs. So finding time is hard but I can do something every day and be done. I hope everyone here is doing well and in good health. Today was a good day.

We have a bunch of beanz soaking. We threw out the old list because it was just too many plants to start. We decided to hunt for orange, grape and candy terps this run for the most part. We have a taste for these and for the first time we have many strains with those was qualities to hunt through. What we don't get to this run will be on our next run. We might add more if we can clear a 3x5 spot next to our 4x4 to put a 2x4x6 tent. I've been known to start seeds up in the middle of veg so that might happen this time since we have some Raspberry boogie on the way and some more testers. It's going to be great run. These beanz just need to get crackin!☮☮

Topanga canyon yielded 86.7 grams of top quality medicine. It's a nice rosin yielder too! We pulled a gram of golden rosin from a 5 gram squish.

When you have 8 autos to take care of and 30 seeds to plant and you pull your back just stretching to get out of bed.... ugh. Worst time for this to happen. Maybe I can grow them with mind control lmao. Im so fucked.
I feel ya brother. I hurt every day to some degree but when it hits hard there's nothing you can do but medicate heavy and stay down. Get better and keep that rosin flowing. ?

I know how you feel as well bro . Backs are no joke . Sometimes I fart and my back hurts . Shit maybe I should get that bit looked at ?
I've had that problem since 1999 lol. It's that vertebraes that are below the L5 that causes that problem. It sucks and that is an indicator of some disc slippage. Im actually feeling a bit better and got all my work done. Screenshot_20211211-204337_Chrome.jpg

Mine is L4-L5. I was in a wheelchair for 3 months when it locked up in the 80's. Fun times.

We need to revise the Punchmittens to 3/3. We left the 2 unsprouted beanz in the paper towel in my cabinet for a couple days. We checked it an hour ago and both beanz had nice tails. The other one I had to help get its helmet off. Wasn't a problem. I keep one thumb and pointer finger nail just a touch long when I'm doing seeds and I'm able to pop them shells off and get the membrane off easy. We hope we get an epic pheno out of these 3. So for this grow we went 28/30 beanz sprouted with 2 that still have helmets on. This year we only had 4 beanz total that didn't germinate out of a lot. We germinated them on all phases of the moon and still had great success! All we do is soak in plain distilled water in them little plastic sauce cups with lids for 18-24 hours. Then they go into paper towels for 48 hours or until they have at least a one inch fuzzy tail. When we plant we just sprinkle a little Great White in the hole and cover it up leaving just the tip of the bean out so we know where it is. They get 10 pumps from the spray bottle of distilled water 4-5 times per day. No humidity domes, no humidifiers, we just keep them lightly moist until they are established with their first sets of leaves then they get their first light feeding of myco+ and veg+bloom dirty formula. This is our first time using myco+ and we love it. The autos are loving the simplified nutrient program, much better uniform intensity/par levels, canopy penetration and the full spectrum of the halide bulb compared to the 3 cheapo leds that were full spectrum but had almost zero canopy penetration. Myco+ has most of whats in the Stackswell, which is Hydroponics Research's version of calmag, but myco+ adds the myco and other goodies to help keep the plants happy which makes our shit grow great.. We don't like Stackswell. It always gives our plants N toxicity and screws up the soil ph baaaad. This run with our autos we are only using 5 products total and no ph'ing at all. Usually we would have had to flush 1-2 plants by week 7. We just learned there's really no need to ph if using soil unless using silica lol. Talk about waaaaay behind lmao. All the ph up and down we've put in them before was useless and most likely did them damage. This time we've had zero ph issues as long as we stick to the nutrient formulas and alternate feed, water from start to finish. We got in trouble before by thinking we can do two feedings in a row which resulted in a chain reaction of fuckery and ultimately the larfiest plant the world has ever known lol. We're getting it down slowly but surely. We had a 5 year break and I honestly thought after that last bust that we'd never grow again then they went ahead and legalized it which left me abliged to grow again. I have great feelings about this winter run. There's lots of great genetics in there from some great and kind folks on here. I'm certain we will find the orange, grape and candy terps we are looking for on a few of these strains, especially growing and flowering under the 600w mh. I'll have some newborn pics in the morning. Today is day 1. Can't wait until 3-4 months from now. We're gonna fast track the 7 hills since they are a contest and I want them to be as close as possible by the end of February so we can get the best picture possible. Hopefully we end up with 2 ladies and they will be grown in the closet under either 2 100w QB's or the 240w Dr.Bigg light that has the veg cob swich for veggin and regular bloom chips switch for the bloom but I'll use both during flower. We have to keep them short so we're going for the bonsai look if possible.

Sometimes I need breaks to cool my jets or just to be off the phone to concentrate on family for awhile. I spend most of my day thinking and planning, worrying about that virus and if my wife is gonna burn herself out working two jobs. This time of year is rough because i've had some bad holidays that I won't get into, this year is way better and much different. Sometimes I get bouts of depression if i think too much about the bad shit and I might disappear for a week or two, but I'll always be back and I'll always be a part of this great community of people.

Well, that's a long enough post. Thanks for those that read this far! I appreciate all of you here!
A special shout out to @Amos Otis for helping to make our Christmas even better. We really appreciate you amigo! ☮☮
