JUST GUESSING @Fr3nzy but it is probably something in your environment causing the nanners. I got zapped not long ago by having Alexa in the grow room. When she would lose a internet connection it would flash blue and it took me a crop and a half to figure out what was going on. Could be something really small like a power strip light . Don't sweat it to much until you solve the issue you can make hash and edibles or do like i did for 30+ years and just separate the seeds from the flower and go on with it. Still probably better than what you would buy in a dispensary.Well I'm still new and I figured it was caused by me, didnt know how common it was for plants to hermie. It was a lesson learned though. Always be looking for balls lol.
That was my next question, would it be decent to smoke not being finished?JUST GUESSING @Fr3nzy but it is probably something in your environment causing the nanners. I don’t think it’s fair to blame it on the environment if this is the first/only strain to do this. I feel plants that throw A LOT of balls/nanners that early in flower have a genetic predisposition where the wrong ph, too much nitrogen, light, or you touch them wrong will make it herm. I could be completely talking out my ass but over the last year i’ve really paid attention to how a plant/how bad they herm and what I possible could’ve done to cause it. Idk I could also be tired of folks blaming growers when they throwing strains together hoping to make gold.JUST GUESSING @Fr3nzy but it is probably something in your environment causing the nanners. Yes i should have lumped the other causes as well besides just environment. I kind of wanted to get @Fr3nzy looking around to try and see if there was something causing it to herm. Could not agree more on the untested crosses. The untested genetics IMO should be grown with with the mind set that it will probably be risky. If i even think there is a chance of herms ( not by my fault ) it will not be grown by me. I like good tested genetics. @Fr3nzy hope you did not take my post the wrong way as i am just trying to help.I don’t think it’s fair to blame it on the environment if this is the first/only strain to do this. Any plant throwing a bunch of balls before week 4 gets chizzopped down.
You are good Capt c, my thought aswell is it was my fault but cant find anything. I have been in room a lot at lights off to see if any light. Aswell I dont have anything that can reset. Power goes out and comes back on everything resumes, aswell as all lights are covered. I ended up pulling one yesterday. I'm waiting see if the other one does it then I can say its ph or nutes or something.Yes i should have lumped the other causes as well besides just environment. Sounds like aphids to me. They'd swarm the stem like a mob. Lol@JL2G thanks for info on captain jacks you saved my outdoor plant from the bugs!!! I may have used to much but I let it on there for 2 days and have been rinsing in the morning and night with a spray bottle. I about got it all off, also now with lower temps I hope they stay away. Wont be done by first frost, but going to make it a spot to finish out.
I guess I should add in I'm pretty sure they was aphids. They would be lined up in on the stock and I mean in the hundreds. Started off a few on top of the leaves in the morning to them all huddled around the stem.

Just a water dip or would you do the lemon juice water and then water dip?Sounds like aphids to me. They'd swarm the stem like a mob. Lol
I did a reapplication a few other times as well. Make sure them basterds dont come back. ?
It washes off super easy when you harvest them so no worries of it being in the smoke.
I chop em and take em to the bathtub. Using the handheld sprayer I use lukewarm water on a gentle spray and rinse em all off. Using hands to rinse each branch and bud off really well. Then I hold it upside down and give a fnal rinse off before hanging to dry. Pretty quick and simple. As an alternate I've done them with the garden hose sprayer on low pressure in the driveway while hiding behind my truck. lolJust a water dip or would you do the lemon juice water and then water dip?
Sounds easy enough, and I got a mental image of a covert ops bud wash in the driveway lolI chop em and take em to the bathtub. Provide the necessary distraction and anything can be done covertly. ahahahahaSounds easy enough, and I got a mental image of a covert ops bud wash in the driveway lol
