My son has never asked for anything big for Xmas or his birthday, and when I bought the Switch a few years back, it was as much for me as him, and I bought it the day it came out.

Now the poor kid is actually writing code for his own games, no joke, on an old computer that keeps crashing. I built him out a monster gaming pc and he has no idea. He’s gonna shit himself Xmas morning. I can’t wait.

My girlfriend made a post of fb today looking for places that have sleds relatively cheap (they don’t give them away anymore!!). I cannot believe two of the replies….one from a 66 year old woman that said, “kids don’t need more shit. Get them a gift certificate to an amusement park!” Next comment was from a friend in her late 30’s, “Exactly! Kids need experiences, not more shit!”
Ummmm….isn’t going sledding and being out in nature more fruitful than an amusement park?! I’d rather buy them two, $100 sleds over any damn electronic game!!
