I get it from time to time...and man...massage...hot...ice...hot ...ice...smoke a lot.

Its about all there is.

I get this pain rub called BLUE...it goes hot...to cold...to hot to cold all by itself...it helps a little.

As I age...well i recently made my cold room have shelving so i can get all that crap out of the basement...and making a workout space...to do yoga and p90X at my pace.
Because..the only REAL cure I know is making the muscles so strong the shit dont get hurt.

And weed....and advil

If meds become a necessary avenue, I was on a med called Baclofen that did offer some relief but it was small in comparison to the other avenues I mentioned.
Not sure about all ins carriers, but most (even low tier) offer so many "maintenance" visits (with co-pay only) per calender year. She will likely have to come out of pocket for the initial xrays they need to do before they will even touch her if she hasnt had any in the last 6 months.

I was going to mention Chiropractor as a well trained one can do really well in my experience. Baclofen is OTC in Canada but I think it's still RX only here in the states. Not sure how well it does for nerves though. Lidocaine patch maybe?

I have been suffering from sciatica for the past 2 years. At first I thought, it will fade away. Nerve pain is the worst! I realized most foods are inflammatory. So I thought, why eat a inflammatory then chase it with anti-inflammatory? I cut out %90 all packaged food.pain almost %100 gone. fish, vegetables, fruit, occasional homemade sausage, pork chop, water....and my herb ?( And whatever elk deer etc my friends kill) Oh and stretching - the most important thing as the body ages and muscles/tendons tighten.

This is also good info. Black Pepper has beta Caryophyllene in it which is anti-inflammatory and is also found in some strains (I kinda base that on how much nose tingle I get from one) but also Linalool from what I've read is a solid option for testing too. Apparently as much as a 50% reduction in Morphine can be had using it.
