Since this is a thread made ( i didn’t do it)…

Community wise i would rather take small amount of good users vs countless spammers/noobs anyday

like any forum/discussion board there’s always ghost users who wanna watch but not be part of community ( not illegal lol) + bunch of stoners forgetting their pw‘s and jealous ass wannabes‘s with double accounts. rule breakers and double accounts can be taken down and I understand they can re-create the accounts under vpn and challenge such, but the obvious and mass posts of crap, that also can be archived and deleted in minutes and also shows the negative spam/rule breakers it’s not so “easy”

i love the seed sharing , knowledge sharing and most def the journals of grow boards present ( exp ph) and I also know a mass amount of the users are legit and people I’m glad we can be part of this and share the info and strain experiences together freely.

but I hate the haters/trolls and people who only effort is to gain hits and free advertisement without showing evidence and also giving fake testimony to people as a fish for sales/testers. PH is a newer board compared to many others for cannabis but like anything you can see what I listed above is what broke the camels back and also killed the love and core of many users and than result was a very sour patch version.


truth hurts but I think this should be nipped on the butt before like many boards that allowed such trolls and haters destroyed majority of wh6 makes boards good.

Well, looks like I opened a can of worms, sorry. I was not looking to call down the trolls, I was hoping to bring a few more newbies into the fold. I have had folks here, damn near bend over backward to help me and others without any condescension, unlike the sites that cannot be mentioned. The last thing I would want is for us to end up like those other guys! It should not be a big deal to banish any assholes who won't play nice. Perhaps I'm just naive. Sorry

It's just the law of averages. The more active members, the greater variety of personalities and the more opportunity for conflict. Also, as more people become active, it's hard to keep track of who is who and the sense of "this is our little community" dissipates.

I still think there are a LOT of great people here, but we've definitely evolved from the early days. I hope our next version still has the sense of goodness. I think that is the most important thing about this place: there are a lot of truly kind and generous people here, the kind of person who takes genuine pleasure from helping others, through sharing seeds or cuts or those most valuable of commodities, knowledge and experience and time.

If we can retain that essential quality of simple decency, we'll be fine, wherever we end up as a community.

Edit: at the same time, we could be a bit more street smart. Kind is great, but we don't have to be pushovers.

Not sure how it used to be here but I'm a newer member...I was only active for many many years on one other forum..Feeling very comfortable here and have gained a shit ton of very helpful info..Not sure what the exact problems that's upsetting folks but I love it here and it's not even in the same ballpark as the other place I was.....If you are a newbie here please do speak up...This is hands down the most helpful and knowledgeable group of ppl I've ever seen in such a short time..I've been telling everyone that I think is applicable to go check this place out..I ended up here because of the Briscos Valentine day promo that was going on..I couldn't get logged in for some reason and hit Amos Otis up and he had Red fix it and I've been here literally every day since and will be for as long as it's here! Honestly getting pretty attached to y'all and it's just become daily routine... Personally like to thank everyone that participates here...Super cool spot

After spending many years on riu I can tell you this site is nothing like that. We have cool people that started this forum and they keep it pretty straight. Other sites you will get scolded/banned for sharing seeds...what a joke. We're still in good shape here. If you look at the "other" site I've noticed that most of the people online are guests where ph is mostly members...

Yup I am not seeing it either, please don't be vague when explaining why you are feeling a certain way. I'm on here pretty much 24/7. I think (but don't know,) this is about 1 issue. Persons setting up shop without schmoozing the community first. Which you have a point. We have to come correct.

But we can't suppress people because of fear of competition for sales/testing. That's silly in my opinion. We have open membership so unless we move to invite only or close it , you're going to have new members show up not knowing the forum decorum here.

Also , many members don't post pics in their thread. That doesn't make them suspect at all. Its a personal preference for some.

These are all MY opinions. I feel we have the best cannabis forum on the web. Nothing started stays the same in life. So PHenohunter will continue to evolve like anything else. Thinking otherwise I feel isn't rational.

Utilize the Ignore feature if you don’t like someone but they aren’t actually doing anything wrong. This is one of the few forums where talking about trading and selling seeds won’t get you banned and i’m sure that’s how some folks head of PH so it’s expected that some will come here with only that in mind, at least at first. Don’t really see a problem with it. This place has ben chill 99% of the time.

If we all just remember that the only real competition here is the POTM and spend the rest of our time on site trying to help each other in a supportive collabrative fashion this place will stay the amazing incubator I have seen it to be. I LIVE on this site. Most anybody that spends anytime here knows that. It is up to us to maintain and guide what we as a community have built.
