First of all, DONT GET ME WRONG.
I fully understand how and why a feminized seed has earned its place.
With that said though, if we keep making she-he’s and keep giving plants totally fucked up hormonal messages, it’s only a matter of time before it settles into the males too. (If you rewrite the dna, it follows the line.)
I personally don’t like breeding from feminized seed, ofcourse sooner or later I’ll more than likely have to, but I reserve that for preservation purposes, and will not let out any seeds of the first two filial generations (Except for testing purposes). I’ll cross my fingers that f3 has stabilized the hormones and only after stress testing on many different fronts would I release it to the gen public.
Some people know how to work with f2, but some don’t and they go about it like it’s a normal seed. It is not the case, and those who know, understand f2 can go all over the board, yet they are for sale everywhere now days. (Again, don’t get me wrong, I get it that we all need to make our two cents from our endeavours, but it’s at the cost of the plant)
Feed a man estrogen and don’t expect man boobies… kinda twisted huh…?
Feed a woman testosterone and she has a better moustache than the guys from YMCA! ??
Do the math, something has to give!
So there’s my two cents. It’s only an opinion, but it makes sense in my head…??
A little bit of insight, 20+ years ago, hermies were nowhere near as prevalent as much as they are these days.. Back then, we didn’t feminize like we do now(frequency) Is there a correlation? More than likely!
But again, I don’t wear a lab coat, so it’s just my opinion, and perhaps some food for thought.
Ok ok, I’ll shut up now, but hey… thanks for reading!(now it’s in your head too!?)
