Strangest Phenotype ever found ?

Just curious what everyone's strangest Phenotype they have ever seen is ?

I just got used to the idea of hunting through for differences, and I'm pondering the strange or "odd balls" that everyone here has seen ?

For me personally I'm thinking the Blue Cheese last year would be pretty high on my list based mainly on just how Skunky and Cat Piss smelling it was. I know other strains are capable of producing that Ammonia smell that gives you funk face, but this was a new one for me. Probably should have taken a cutting to keep but I didn't have a tent to put her in so I just flowered her and the clones all out.

Another strange one (At least for me anyway) would probably be last year's Skywalker; I'm used to Skywalker being a fairly balanced smell of Blueberry scent and Earthy wet Soil smells, but last year I popped a hermie bean from a clone I had, and it legit smelled like Blueberry Jam. Pungent too; you could smell it once you'd open that one from across the room.

Anyone here grown anything they expected to have a specific smell and then once they started growing it out, started wondering if maybe it was placed in the wrong bag ? I have to admit this idea of pheno hunting has captivated my brain more than once, and given my love of smells... I tossed 6 more Blue Cheese seeds in some water yesterday; Not only because I'm not sure if the two left outside are male or female yet, but I wanted to select one to see how it goes.

Anyway, just wondering what everyone's Pheno Hunting has resulted in in terms of "Wow that's weird!".

Got this sack of seeds from @Keif Lint.
Every so often get a cat piss / chive stinker.
Even more seldomly, twice now (after 20-30 females), I get a cabbage.
No stretch. No branching.
All of the sisters are finishing at 4 ft tall, cabbage head is sitting there like a bowling ball.

I've seen the "green globe" once before myself and thought it was interesting. I did have some luck with pulling a plant sideways which seemed to make it branch out quite a bit but I've also seen that not work out as well (Candy Kush last season didn't take too it as well) so it might be hit or miss.

Cat piss and chives sounds wonderful!

Shit grew like a skunk or something super hardy. Rock hard buds with a straight up redbull stimulant effect. Smelled like a skunk too.

But it was too potent honestly. It'd have you up till 4am fucking cleaning the bathroom or reorganizing you spare closet.

Don't worry about it bro; I legit ended a post in my grow journal yesterday with "Son of a bitch I have to go to the store and get Milk"..... Two kids using YouTube on phones / tablets, and streaming Netflix to the TV, Wife listening to an audio book, the net was pegged to the floor and waiting to upload pictures I was like nah fuck it I'm not re-uploading that.... Haha.

I grew a plant from a pack of spirit train F2s and this was a tri/quad foliate. It’s in my journal somewhere it ended up being a male so I got rid of it but each node alternated trifoliate then quadfoliate (I guess that’s what you’d call it). It gad 3 fans and laterals then the next node had 4 fans and laterals then it would go back to 3 then back to 4 it was 7 nodes high when I chopped it and it was still doing it. But that was the weirdest Pheno I’ve ever grown. If we go for females or buds it would be from Brisco I had this banana Punchsicle x Southern bananas Pheno that looked like cousin it’s plant. Frim made a joke that it looked like that red hairy monster from looney toons which was spot on tbh..

Trifoliate and Quadfoliate is interesting to say the least lol. I've seen lots of trifoliate action but not quite like that.

Now that female sounds like a furry one huh? Lol nice.

I dug up the pics of the tri/quad
If you look it goes 4 branches at the bottom node then 3 in the middle then 4 at the top. It would of kept going and did but the plant was so crowded I topped it and just kept the 11 tops that I was gonna continue to top and manifold into something awesome but it threw balls so it got the axe… still by far my most memorable grow besides the 2x I’ve had twins from a single seed.

Two plants one seed sounds really dirty, but really interesting too lol. I've seen what looks like that happening, but not experienced it as of yet. What did you end up doing with that... or them?

One of the plants always grew bigger and stronger then the other. So the weaker always got culled. I’m very picky with who stays and goes. I will throw out plants that are fully flowering if they are up to my standards or are giving me a hard time. Survival of the fittest at the pretzel palace.

I kinda thought that would be how it worked out, though my curiosity may have me attempt to see what happens if I ever have that pop up haha. I sometimes have to cut a plant too though I don't like to unless it's really bad.

It is very cool, doesn’t seem possible it could grow at all with no green.
Varigation or complete blonde out is genetic.
In my years of growin succulents it is a common thing and is usually propagated by offsets to continue the oddity.

That is pretty interesting. Makes you wonder what it's doing for Photosynthesis huh ? Do the Succulents grow normally when they look like that ?

Yep, albiet much slower, especially on the heavily variegated phenos.
The offset on the right would give a slow growing beautiful specimen.

there is actually a lady on IG that goes to a few cups here and there named shield maidens gardens and she has a variegated cannabis plant that looks just like a succulents variegation the leaves are half blonde half green. She’s one hell of a grower. Check her out if you have IG. She was just at DGC cup and had the plant there and a few clones she gave out..
