So far 39 of the 50 seeds have popped I have tabasco , habanero , ring of fire ( cayenne hybrid) , tame jalapeno , California wonder bell & jumbo jalapeno & I've got birds eye seeds coming from an Asian food distributor in san Francisco I've been trying for a couple of years to get these & at some point I'm gonna buy a super Chile plant from a local source

Paper Lantern Habenero
Jalapeno
Long Red Cayenne
Baron Anchos (Poblanos)
Padron
Tabasco

As well as a couple types of bells. I have some bhut jolokia starters coming from a friend too hopefully.
I've got some heirloom habaneros in my mix as well 35 of the 50 seeds I planted have popped everything from mild to wild & I'll end up buying a few plants as well I've got tame jalapenos I like to stuff with creme cheese & pineapple chunks then wrap in bacon to go on the grill

I get after some stuffed jalapenos myself but I have never tried them with pineapple added in. That burst of sweetness sounds like an amazing addition.

I've had ghost , Carolina reaper &`trinidad scorpion in my garden the past few years & the tabasco topped them all this little gem of a pepper is way underrated I've never had or grown the scotch bonnet yet but the tabasco compares to the others in heat & flavor but easier to grow I'm enjoying salsa made from garlic , onion , fermented tabasco, rice vinegar & sea salt I think there other sources than baker creek for these seeds View attachment 54318 View attachment 54319
I love the tabasco pepper...when I was makin my bones in the oilfields back in the 80's I still cherish the trip I made to Avery island La to the home of TABASCO...It was so beautiful there and tasting it fresh out of the barrels was like none other.

Though I enjoy many hot peppers, good jalepenos, poblanos, chile's and others...my new found favorite from a few years ago has become the fatalii...a friend of mine in mass. Has a special hot sauce made with them from someone in the Carolinas and I think it is one of the best I ever had.

These are the Fatalii's I am growing this season along with seeds from the best fatalii peppers I grew the last 2 seasons...I like to compare different seed source's every year with what I started with and eventually settle with the best of my liking and then grow it year after year...the plants that give me no problems along with the tastiest peppers are usually the seeds I save.
