So. I've been reading this thread, to be honest I haven't finished it yet, pretty great idea, I gotta say.
I guess I will just lay it out here, I don't know if this is proper etiquette or what, I'm sure someone will tell me, LOL....
I have a bunch of seeds of a strain that is claimed to be the famed 'Santa Maria'. About 15 years ago, I acquired several dozen seeds of various strains through the mail from a person in Amsterdam. They were all very high quality. I wasn't into the seed making thing then so I've lost almost all of those lines and yeah, I could kick myself.
There were two seeds of the Santa Maria, notated 'F6'. I didn't get to ask any questions, and of course I had a bunch. Anyway, spring of 2018 I grew both of those seeds out and as luck would have it, one was a male and one was a female. I allowed the pollination and that was that, got seeds....the mom was about 3 feet tall when I pollinated her (maybe 8 weeks old?) and didn't really grow much more. I had other fish to fry so I didn't keep any of that bud around, I sampled a little and gave it to a friend....I had a high tolerance at that time and I didn't really evaluate it well at all. Also this was done outdoors in the spring in dirt, to say it wasn't an optimized grow would be an understatement.
A friend ran some of these two different times and got all males. The count numbers were low, around 7-8 each time but still....
I am probably not going to do anything with them, you guys interested?
For what it's worth, I do believe they are the real deal, the other strains I got from this person were phenomenal.
Just a thought 👍
