Hey @Deebs I have some seeds that I believe would make some good preservations for the vault.. 79 Xmas Bud, Grapefruit Kush, and possibly some others.. I'd donate them only to trusted members with the stipulation that I get some of the freshly made seeds back and possibly some pollen. How should I go about this? I just don't want to give them to a random member who won't follow through and just keep the seeds, because not only will I be out of the seeds I'll be out of money too. Just the 79' Xmas Bud seeds alone cost me over a $100.

What you have there may actually be Pine Tar Kush. I heard NDNGUY mislabeled the packs as Xmas Bud when the actual strain was PTK. I've read about it in another forum, I wish I remembered where so I can cite the source so people don't think I'm talking crazy bullshit lol.

I got my Xmas Bud as well as Pine Tar Kush from CSI Humboldt.

I have a pack of 79 Xmas tree from Jaws that I will be looking thru in '24...I could add your beans to the hunt...More than likely Only the best three females will be catching pollen after the fact and the hunt is over and a male is chosen..Ill go back to three best from clone in the chuck tent...I will however be searching for the phenos that are putting off the most "Pine" odor..You could get fresh seeds back but i dont think ill ship pollen anymore... Haven't had much luck with doing that, or pollen that has been shipped to me...Let me know if this would help and we can figure it all out when I'm ready to do it

I believe I saw you say something about having Susie Cream Cheese at one point. Depending on which pheno that you get, there's a lot of pine to be had in there

I know a few others that have a good amount of Pine to them, as I myself have always loved that smell.

Between my Xmas Bud pack, as well as Jaws and Caddis's packs you should have a bonafide pheno hunt on your hands to keep you busy.

I don't know where the others sourced their beans but hopefully they're actual Xmas Bud and not Pine Tar Kush like in that mislabeling snafu I mentioned earlier.

It really is...Ide be going nuts if I wasn't BEYOND content with a few keepers I have hanging around...I am planning some decent hunts but I'll tell ya the truth...ALL strains have some pretty damn big shoes to fill if they are going to be better than I already have with me...I know there is always better but I'm going to have to literally prove that to myself to believe it..And if this super silver haze ends up being half as nice as she looks and smells 2023 will be the most epic year of growing since growing been growing..I don't have anyone to thank except the ppl right here at phenohunters for all this too..❤️💯

My best friend knows about my seed collection and he keeps telling me to quit keeping around the same shit when you can search and find something better. “You might not find it if you don’t free up the space..” the struggle is real, because I know I have some fire seeds, but I also have a few fire cuts that would suck to lose.
It may come to fruition though……been finding hints of powdery mildew again 😡. While it sucks, it’s kind of good timing. We need to get our house appraised and we can’t have that done with a functioning grow room. Will limp this run through and do a full dismantle and scrub down of my rooms and then after the appraisal is completed, start fresh.

I said it earlier that if I had a light for my tent right now I'd probably be popping seeds again haha. I mean.... I just got Livers in a care package.... I wanna run that so bad....
