This is a lesson I learned the hard way... it's fun to try new stuff but having a reliable strain in the stable is pricelessThat's so cool I'm very happy for you. It's nice having a cut u can count on.

That's my favorite too and I just ran out. Didn't keep any from the last run, that's why I've got 4 different strains of it running atm.Gg4 is my go to for some time now . Just smoked some the other nite for the first time in a month or so and god dam . Shit gets me baked
Love hearing shit like this man ?I think I hit a homerun on this one...
I had to give in (thanks to running out of gorilla glue) and take a tester nug from the GDP even though it's only day 52. I quick dried it in the convection oven like usual.
First impression, holy wowzers freaking tricomes!

Even though they're a mix of cloudy/a few clear/amber (still way early), the buzz hits hard.
I mean, you know the sound when they shutdown all the power in a movie??
Like that kind of a heavy "duuuurrrrrrp"... relaxed, not high, "stoned" feeling.
Exactly what I look for in my meds. If it can't help with my insomnia, I'll pass thanks.
Not only is the buzz already great, but I swear there wasn't a hint of grassy taste to it even though it dried out in 90 minutes. I didn't even think about needing to cough. It beats some of my best cured strains on smoothness.
Taste= Grape.
And I mean grape. Not the color purple that "grape" candy and soda taste like...
Anyway, I'm not going to look too much further into it, except to smoke what I've got, until she's good and finished. I don't want to ruin the experience on this one.
The cutting I took is 100% definitely the beginning of my first mother. This lady isn't going anywhere.
Love it bro! Big fat nuggetsFlower currently @ 2.5kW HPS, Veg 315w cmh.

I'm getting some K burn in the flower tent, so I've backed feed off from 1.2EC to .85EC
Is that a Kalanchoe and mammalaria ya got there?Besides topping a few days ago, I've been 100% hands off with the Gelato. She's had no issues to speak of, and is actually out pacing the Blue Dream in stretch even though it went in 2 days prior to her.

With the way she's looking, I decided to go ahead and take a cutting.
She's in the cloner @ 12k lux of hps...

Everyone else is around 28-30k lux @ 400w.

Do ya get them to bloom in the tent?Yes indeed it is!
They've only be in for a couple weeks so I haven't had the chance to see if they will yet.Do ya get them to bloom in the tent?
Very cool, ill have to try a couple of mine in a grow. They've only be in for a couple weeks so I haven't had the chance to see if they will yet.
They spent the summer outside on the screened in porch.
The GDP monstercrop is beginning to reveg.

I'm super happy I kept a cutting. She's a sturdy, healthy plant that is going to be a great producer with an insane amount of trichome production.
I rigged up my uvb today to see what happens when she gets a little defensive.
Starting with 3- 1 hour intervals today.

I love it..Smoke
I'm really interested in you opinion of the UVB light that you are trying out.
Please let us know what you think of it's effects.
Thanks,

1) I'm an electrician by trade, so rebuilding a light fixture is nutin but a thing.A 4' would definitely cause some good disruption to them
I say go for it. I honestly think the only difference between a diy or purchasing a pre-built is your paying the company money for their fixtures.
I know once my bulb goes bad I'll probably switch to a reptile bulb from the pet store. Basically the same thing, but Petco wants $20, California Light Works wants $60.
