I was so very sad to hear this news. I am still coming to terms with this...I thought he would be around for a long time. We had plans to meet up and burn a fat one. Useful was my mentor, he really helped me develop from a grower to a breeder. We have shared so many cuts and seeds over the past 16-17 years. And his selections were so damn good. I often asked him " how the hell do you do it?" And we would both laugh as he would respond " I get lucky" all the while knowing he had a special skill. . the last question I asked him was, what line I should do a seed increase on. He said it's your garden, BUT tranquel elephantizer original would be nice. Lol. I swear it's the only time he ever recommended a strain other than the chocolate trip. I could go on for like 5,0000 words about my love and respect for him and how he has influenced my growing/breeding and my daily life. I was not going to post anything about this but I just feel I need to honor my friend and mentor. In his honor I would like to make some seed runs and offer them to the PH community free of charge. "Spread the love" I have seeds starting from about 17 years ago ... I have SO many seeds that this kind man shared and traded with me. From before he had his seed company to current day..If there is an interest I will pick about 20 and send it to a vote. The top 2 I will run for seeds...open pollination. The results will be available to PH folks only. I wrote this and offer this with the heaviest of heart.

At the beginning of my seed making venture, Useful gave me lots of guidance and 'useful' advice. He gently but persistently urged me to leave my combative nature behind and concentrate on good will and good product. I wish I could have met him in non cyber life.

They dont make em like Useful anymore. He was a genuinely great person with an amazing knack for creating fire genetics without the greed and drama that is so commonplace in the seed biz these days. I was first a fan of his work and was fortunate enough to do testing for him which then evolved into a friendship over the years.
When many others would reject the idea for worry of it effecting their own gains, he without any hesitation reached out to help me get my own seed venture going in total contrast to what may be in his own best interest as a breeder. This single deed speaks volumes about the mans character. His unwavering kindness, charity work, willingness to help, and distaste for drama are just a small portion of great attributes found in Useful. Many could stand to model their existence the same. I respected this man and his work greatly. He will be missed dearly by many.

@Lester Moor , What a powerful gesture! Much appreciated by many I'm quite sure! Very cool you got to know Useful in that manner..So many breeders ide love to talk to and just haven't..I'm not the super social type..Those two would awesome but damn man, Fire Og f2s are literally untouchable these days??. Been chasing those quite some time..Romulan f2s. Sheesh??
