Well you know exactly how I feel about this brother. I’m hoping to do a repro on the BOO myself if I can find enough. Only have 4 beans atm . Useful was a great dude and over the years I developed a great respect for him as well, and it’s all because of you @Lester Moor , I personally vote for the locktite f2 (cuz I’ve wanted her back FOREVER, it’s an all time favourite from redeye) silver skunk and the LUI XG13hp

I would like to help with some Useful preservation .

I have full packs of both the Lucky lime and Mint Chocolate Trip, I will run a open pollination with,
and help " Spread the Love".

I just need to figure out a way to get this done using my 4x3 tent.
If anyone has some tips or advice , I'm All ears.

Are you able to keep plants outside? If so, keep the males outside and introduce them to the ladies outside or collect pollen and bring it in. If outdoor isn’t an option, flower the males with the females until day 14-16 (before pollen starts) and throw the males back in veg. They’ll continue to flower and drop pollen for a couple weeks and you can keep flower clean. Have a spray bottle handy and mist constantly when opening tents

I didn't realize the males would keep flowering, after being put back into veg.
I was concerned about space in the 4x3 , but with a short veg , I should be fine.

Smaller pots will work. The square 9 " pots you can fit 20 pots in your tent. I can get 16 in a 3x3. I have a 2x4 frame about 20" off the floor. I can put in triangle corner shelves and put the males there.... It's crowded, but you can yank the males as soon as done. I've done it with round 2 gallon trade pots also. The square 9's hold a bit more dirt and I switched. You can make a lot of beans like that.

I am so used to vegging for 6 - 8 weeks, and transplanting to larger pots, that I didn't even consider keeping them in smaller pots, with a shorter veg time and no training.
How long of a veg time would you recommend , or could I just grow them out on a 12 /12 cycle? I'm not in a rush, just want to produce the best results, I can.

I would veg 3-4 weeks I think. For me , the plants are always smaller if I just go 12/12 from the seed. I would veg and flip. And @Idlewilder tip about leaving the males outside is excellent. I'd flip the girls 2 weeks prior to sending in the boyz. Then remove the boys and keep the girls alive until done.

The size of your females matters more than the size of the males. A small male can put out enough pollen to make thousands of seeds.

I did man shit that stuff smells like Lime and spent Fireworks ! Absolutely delicious too. Absolutely lovely pepper tongue too!

Ok so since I didn't know how to create a proper thread to tally votes I tried to count them...then I thought...I really should make seeds from a cross useful made not just gifted or F2's. I may visit the fire OG and SSSDH at some point but I think I will make seeds from 1. A plant many seem to like chocolate diesel and 2 a plant my friends and family have been really enjoying chocolate trip. My next seed run will be a cross useful made ...chocolate diesel x chocolate trip. I have enjoyed both on their own and can't wait to see what his selections of each will bring us. I can't predict my results but when ready they will be available for the PH family. I'll keep ya posted.
