Day 52
20220807_175127.jpg 20220807_175134.jpg
The back half of the canopy has full on NBA/MLS flopped. Mostly cloudy with a couple amber in each scope filed of view.
Smoking on a lower from the TTLT x 7 Hills that was chopped on 7/23. Normally it would be crunchy by now but the rain/humidity has slowed the dry. It's good, two weeks more time on it makes me think it could be ready.

The twinklehawk tester was taken on 7/30 and isn't ready for testing just yet.

Kinda debating what I should do, chop or give support, right now I am leaning chop, let's see how I feel in the morning.

Lights dimmed to minimum, probably unplug the boards all together tomorrow and start trimmin fans.
Also gonna dry in the room so I need to get a string hung somewhere and also a quick wipe down. The acinfinty filter boxes have worked really well, need to get a set and a spare of filters though, shoulda had the spares already tbh

So instead of posting this I went ahead and ordered the filters, wiped the room with physan and chopped about half (the floopy half) of TTLT x 7 Hills.

Ended up choppin the floppy bits off both but since Twinklehawk needs another 2 weeks I did some crude supporting on it and set a tent up for drying in the room. Pulled the boards, re-adjusted the cob rig and turned it back up to 11.

Yesterday I hacked back the coldframe again 20220808_072044.jpg
20220808_085437.jpg

Next year I will try not to put anything outdoor before August 1 unless it is a trespasser. Can't have huge plants and I notice the clones of Twinklehawk and TTLT x 7 Hills look like they are starting to preflower. Might even bump the lights to 20/4 or 24/0 before doing it too.

But seems like she's gonna recover from the hack job, I mean haircut. Hashpile 1 took it a little hard too.
20220810_195626.jpg
Will probably get some lst clips on at least these 2 (ttlt x 7 Hills back and Hashpile 2 front)

Haven't watered or done anything other than prune and ipm spray for over a month now.

IPM spray tomorrow. Grandevo, Regalia and Botanigard wp @1T/gal, yucca and Si.

Watering cold frame today. One of the pots had some red mold growing between the layers of saran wrap so I pulled it and will replace. Also applying LST clips to some.

It's day 56 on the indoor.
TTLT x 7 Hills is real close, probably 3-4 more days. Twinklehawk is probably a 10 week flower. The tent is doing ok for drying what I've cut so far, humidity is good but it's a little warm.

20220812_092359.jpg
Post interrupted by Twinklehawk and that bright yellow orb in the sky. She'd maybe be a keeper if she weren't such a flopper, curious what she does OD besides flash purple when it gets cold.

Checked the labels it was actually ttlt x 7 Hills that went purple for a bit.

Top dressed in ground with BaS Craft Blend 3T ea. will probably keep up on that at least every 2 weeks now. Thinking I will do a epsom foliar on all here in the next few days, then calcarb after the next ipm. The cold frame seems to appreciate water lol. I'll think about giving each 1/2gal a day for now.

Looking forward to the indoor chop, it's really cool not feeling rushed cause there's plants busting at the door to go in, or already in week 3. Beginning, Middle, End, don't see myself going back to the perpetual flower method.

Hey dude looks like you’ve been busy! How have things been w you and your family? I gotta check out your neck of the woods if you’re down. I’m sure @JL2G would be more than willing to chauffeur me up there lol. Have a great weekend brother.
You are welcome here any time. Another beauty of this new grow schedule I am playing with is it will allow for extended vacations and time away. We plan to hit Costa Rica this winter and I was thinking about doing some through hiking this fall, but really a road trip tour of pHamily gardens post harvest sounds more fun.

Day 59 or 60 got a miscount somewhere.

TTLT x 7 Hills is gonna come down in the next day or two, it's starting to fade a little. Twinklehawk is still green but the window is opening. On a side note I don't think I'll reammend this bed before the fall planting. It needs a little mulch but I don't think I will have any ready before next spring. Think I'll keep this bed water only and add a 2 x 4 when I build that 20-30 cob rig I haven't told the wife about yet.

Dude I love that bed setup. Just watering one vessel would be a super time saver for me. Great job man. Ya I had plans for Costa Rica as well, one of my best friends (pretty much family) did a fishing trip and I was gonna go meet him there for a few days before heading on a pH trek. Did a lotta research, watching vlogs, etc to prepare for the trip then stuff went down. Life happens, and although I didn’t make it that time there will be more times. I will definitely make it back to the Rockies. IDK how I didn’t see Blucifer but that’s probably cuz that airport is huge! Plus I was anxious just to get through and smoke w Jesse lol.

Thank you I am so happy and thankful you shared those 7 Hills genetics with us. My plan is to run through some more of those crosses. Specifically the gg4s1 x Tomahawk x 7 Hills will be featured in my garden for a bit, but wouldn't you know it I only got 3 beans from that plant. Had 2 more but lost em while camping.

I have had 4 or 5 anthers pop up on the TTLT x 7 Hills but will at least run that cut through flower again, there's one od too along with a 2nd shorter pheno.

The rough back story is the statue killed the artist. A piece fell on them, severed thier femoral artery and the artist's friends finished the work. Tragic but beautiful, now the unauthorized more entertaing back story -

It's easier to see going to the airport, was supposed to be taken down years ago as a temporary display.

TTLT x 7 Hills is showing some purple resin, nighttime temp has been set to 63F for about 10 days or so. It's time to chop tho as I plucked another couple suspicious flower sites. Calling it day 62 for the chop, gonna put the 2nd cuts of both OD I think. Hard choice but I want stuff I can chuck pollen at Twinklehawk is too floppy and required multiple prunings in flower, TTLT x 7 Hills #1 has stems that snap with mild LST and is continuing with the late anthers after the light thing was fixed. Need to see if I can find a place to dig a hole today, got 3 duplicates that need a home too.

Accidentally killed the last trespasser while turning compost and the HSxNHx7 Hills is looking sad too, 6in tall and sickly looking. I have forgotten to top dress it and it's basically in pee gravel. Sex is just starting to show on everything.

Had another flash of purple on the OD yesterday, it was 45F overnight, not much better last night at 49F, WTF, where did summer go?

Beautiful looking country side . Are you safe from Forrest fires in that area ?
No, its an accepted risk, I do what I can to mitigate. This year has been a mild fire season so far tho, the monsoon has been flowing.

Got the one transplanted.

The little ones seem to have recovered.

Also, just pulled the trigger on a 25 COB 3 driver build for the flower room @dstroy0 . Went with 20 x 3500K and 5 x 5000K cxb3590, 2x hlg-320 for the 3500K, 1x HLG-185 for the 5000K and 120mm pin fins. That should provide better coverage over the 3x3. I will get a 2x4 for the other light to go over, might have to reconfigure it a bit tho.
