Culled a perfectly healthy plant this evening, Hashpile 1, it just was nothing special and I don't have room for nothing special, specially in the coldframe.

Did some quick and dirty LST on Jenny, she was supposed to have this thing all to her self.
One wasn't enough.

TTLT x 7 Hills #2 is now composting. I have a cut and there is one in with the extras uphill, if it shows promise, I'll run it indoor.

It was 87F two days ago, yesterday's high was 55F, it's 40F right now and drizzling fog. The forecast was about 10-15 degrees high for this drop and it still seems they don't know where the bottom is. Aspen are changing.

If it dries out I'm gonna work on getting the upper panels back on the cold frame so I can think about moving the heater and dehumidifier in there.

Well, it's cold, 35F, I almost died getting this pic.

Deck is frozen and most of the grass and rooftops are frosted over.

Auto mode on this camera often has difficulty focusing.

The elk are out of tune but are trying.

It was foggy and drizzling all day yesterday so I decided to work on the new light.

Frame is built, need to mount heatsinks then I'll work on epoxying the COBS and wiring.

Couple days ago.

17 days hang drying for Twinklehawk, real close to being ready for final trim and bag. Drying has been a little slower than I want, temp swings are making it tough to keep rh and temp steady so I have been keeping rh a little higher. Will probably skip the sweat/burp and go straight to grove bags.

Jenny seems to be picking up steam finally, hope I can get her to the finish, if I don't gonna have to run her indoor or work a trade w/ @JL2G for some finished product.

IPM Thermx70, Vinerate, PyGanic.

I have a pound and a half of seeded weed because I dried the intersex TTLT x 7 Hills in the flower room as Twinklehawk finished. The seeds are tiny but so far as I can tell they are everywhere. Five months sidetracked by a damn mistake. I have about an eighth of the early harvest that is fine, except that it was taken 2 weeks early. The few branches of TTLT x 7 Hills I isolated from the batch aren't seeded, so hopefully the rest of that plant is ok in that regard.

Kinda makes OD a little more important, really just need to get a decent harvest from the coldframe. If OD doesn't pan out I'll have to postpone the phenohunt and do a fall production run. Gonna prep up by letting the bansai veg out a bit through mid October at least.

Given my current situation I found this article from my Google feed is kinda timely.

“I often espouse a general philosophy in my life of pursuing a discipline of one sort or another… But it’s not to ever approach any level of perfection.” He added, “Instead, what keeps us living and what keeps me vitally engaged is a constant pursuit of betterment. So I gave up on perfect a long time ago. Now I’m just chasing halfway decent.”

“If you make mistakes, it means you’re out there trying. It means you’re taking a swing at achieving something. And if you’re not making mistakes, it means you’ve given up.”
--Nick Offerman

I just cracked open a 5 month temple ball. It was a mix and I would like to see what a single cultivar/plant does, so I will make temple balls with most of Twinklehawk.

Got to tearing down and cleaning the flower room a bit, would like to source some new ossciìliatig fans before the fall run. Waiting for a sale on grassroots beds too, in addition to adding a 2 x 4 to the room I want some for outdoor next year.

Closed up the coldframe last night and ran the heater and dehumidifier. It was a little too warm but will get it dialed over the next few nights. I staked Jenny a few days ago too, gonna be close on headroom but I got some LST I can still do. That's something those clips really facilitate cause I can lightly work the area with the clip, then if it's a 60, replace it with a 90, or just add a 60. Hashpile 2 smells like strawberries, and will probably be the first to finish.

So at some point I'll get over the fact I unintentionally seeded one of my best runs ever.

Super light frost this am, 37F. Thinking only the cold frame will be able to really finish. If we can string together some nights in the 50's buds might get a decent swell but otherwise I don't think they're gonna put on much bulk.

Dog run, chopped Twinklehawk and ttlt x 7 Hills several days ago (compost), just keeping Hashpile 3 for fun.

Thanks. Weather is beautiful, just not conducive to bud stacking lol.

I think all 4 plants I am calling hashpile are 7 Hills. They all have a strawberry note, no 1 and 2 have the leaf twist, 3 and 4 I think are both honey Sundae x Neville's Haze x 7 Hills.

IPM yesterday at sunset, mornings are a little cool until it's too bright. ThermX, Grandevo, Botanigard.

Ordered some Zerotol, gonna use it as a pre harvest wash, will probably still do at least a 3 bucket rinse 1 with baking soda, 1 vinegar and 1 plain water.

Put the bansai treatment on veg a week or so ago.
20220928_075610.jpg
Hashpile 2 is not happy about it, I cut too much off. Some take it better than others. Jenny has been goin since January, next round will be a reset for her.

20220928_082239.jpg
Trying to do a cleaner job on wiring, still haven't gone back to clean my other light up 5+ years on down the road lol.

Once I get the wires tied down, I'll flip the frame over to work on mounting and soldering the cobs..

Need some attachment points on the driver frame.
20220928_083141.jpg
Also some plugs and more wire to go from drivers to light. I'd of had enough if I was more efficient but maybe I have some stashed somewhere. Certainly would have gone for 2 x Timber redwoods if I didn't have most of these parts already. On the other hand, this is the fun part.

0.19in rain last night cool and mostly cloudy today 10 day forecast shows only a few days over 60. Hoping for a late October heatwave, idk when the resorts wanna open.

Gave photosynthesis plus yesterday to hopefully keep the bennie populations up as everything dies. Next ipm will be Dr. Bronner's and yucca, probably Tuesday.
