I had the pleasure of seeing her live and being on stage with her in Detroit at a rave party we threw at the old Packard plant (my great great grandfather worked there in the line). Yes, the one that's been shut down for many many many yrs.
We threw LOTS and LOTS of rave parties from 99-2005 in Detroit. In some great, and not so great/safe locations. And many many wah-wah-wah balloons.

Your from the Detroit area. Did you ever go to a rave party from 99-05. I think I still have all of, or most of the flyers we made for the parties. Jiggly Puff, fuck fox 2, transformers. Do you remember the ghetto tech (dj assault, dj godfather)?
Or anyone from the Tampa Bay area? We threw parties from 92-98ish. Fantasy ranch, I'm having a brain fart on the other locations. Too much molly back in the day.

Honestly no, I made it through high school in 2000, and ended up starting college the next year and kinda gave up on a social life for some years to be a "nerd" LOL.
I may know some people who were around then though; I know a few guys that no longer live close by that were part of the industrial and electronic music scene back then. LOL molly is one of the weirdest things; You'd never expect the best of it to be in Detroit, but sure enough they have access to everything haha.

1st ever experience was on Peter pans down in Florida. Smackiest pills I've ever had the pleasure of taking. Now adays it's all RC or fake shit. No real stuff anymore.

Yeah that's one thing about illicit pills is you really don't have a way of knowing what's actually in it. I remember a few of them that were around the area back in the day but didn't ever go for it. Apparently there's even been Heroin found in some of those though so, yeah not too sure I'd want to play with them haha.

I had a test kit I ordered from Germany back in '99. I used to test pills at rave parties. Iirc it was a marquis reagent. Scrape a little from the pill onto a ceramic plate. 2 drops of the reagent. Legit mdma scraping turned dark purple.
My favorite were smacky pills.
