Oh hell yeah! I love that salsa but wifey doesn't like the heat. I grow habaneros every year for my and Ian's salsa?

That jalapeno sauce is about the best flavor and I've tried most of what's available. Walmart usually has those 6oz cans. I used the hot duck sauce once and wife wouldn't eat it, "It's too Fucking hot" she said and she hardly every says the f word?

I was over on another site and there's a thread just like this that I've found some entertainment in. Thought it would be cool to have one over here.....

So today was my wife's bday and with cases of covid blowing up around us we decided we weren't going anywhere to celebrate. I let her pick what she wanted me to make and she chose elk steak, homemade mac n cheese, and salad. Some tomato and avocado bites to go with the steak and it was a pretty tasty meal.

Last night I ate an old family recipe; Cabbage Bread. I've been eating it since I can remember, and my Mom and Aunts usually get together and make huge batches of it for everyone. Home made bread, cabbage is cooked in spices, finished in the oven.... nice?

Starting on supper early.
Roasting and peeling some beautiful pablano peppers for my wife so she can make chili rellenos tonite.
A coat of olive oil, in the oven at 430* for 20 minutes each side. Then into a covered bowl for a half hour to finish steamin the skins off.

Man I love peppers, Chilies, Chilis and however else we English speakers butcher words lol.

Another few weeks and I'll be probably posting Morel Mushrooms we find cooked in butter with garlic! The woods around here are full of Mushrooms and Morels are usually the first to come up.
