Had every intention of replying with my favorite Grandpa Jones tune yesterday, but got distracted...
There's comedy genius happening throughout the song, but I think most people change channels before discovering.

Using humor to make his points - David Akeman should have been at Woodstock alongside Joe McDonald.
I've seen the name Stringbean, but never looked into it.
And now I see he was MURDERED!!!
On top of that, our beloved Grandpa Jones was the one to discover the carcasses!!!

One of the convicted cousins died in prison. The other - the one who fired the shots that killed the Akemans - was paroled after serving 40 years of a double life sentence. He became a manager of a car wash business, and is likely living out his retirement.

I can remember a little weird guy that always gave my wife the creeps when she went through the neighborhood carwash. I would downplay his oddness, and then one day, he made the news!!!
