Took me a few attempts before I fully quit. I weaned myself down from 2 packs a day to a smoke every 2 hours then I stopped. The first 48 hours are the worst as it purges out of your system. After that the challenge for me was the habbits. Beer / smoke. (quit drinking as well eventually) The after meal smoke. Man that was tough. It was a lot of will power & you have to be ready to quit. I ran into one guy that quit in 1 hypnotisim session. Others with those patches, everyone finds their way that works for them, eventually. Exercise also helped me a lot.
