In Bloom
Last couple weeks and weekends have been crazy busy, so figured I'd dump some pics to catalog since the last visual update 11 days ago.
The hermie seems to have stopped throwing bananas. Might've just been a fluke caused by various stressors in the environment. Working out how to automate the fertigation next round -- with my schedule it's hard to keep up with hand watering to meet the demands of the ladies. I think yields have suffered due to that.
May end up just setting up the dutch bucket system in the tent next round, and keep a few other ladies in fabric pots with coco with a flood and drain table or something along those lines. I'm for sure dumping the promix. I hate it. It smells weird, growth and yields just feel slower than coco, and overall I just don't like it. It'll amend the veggie raised beds nicely though.
Otherwise, things are chunking up now. Colors are starting to fade (seems early) but it may just be due to the new environment. I'm not super optimistic about yields at this point, but that may turn around over the next few weeks. Love Stash is definitely a yielder, think that line would due phenomenal in a scrog or sog configuration. I'll for sure be keeping the non-hermie for a mom even though she was the runt. I like the frost they produce, and will want some guarantees next round, alongside the ongoing pheno hunt.
Neither of the blackberry moonshines are proving to be keepers simply due to yield. I think I can find better producers in the remaining beans I have. Regardless, with the leaves changing how they are, I'm stoked to see what the flowers do. They're filling in now, and calyxes are fat and stacking. Leaves are starting to taco as well, so that's cool. They'll definitely be some frosty flowers either way.
I'll shut up and throw some preview pics of what's going on today. I'll be getting more today after I finish up with work.
