Got my shorter tent and set it up tonight...

That's the stitch line above the door.... A+ craftmenship over at Vivosun, guess that's why they sent me a free roll of reflective tape... it's worse than it looks in the picture too.. in person it looks like starry night

Also found a bunch of holes in my foundation right where we need to move our breaker panel too just a couple hours ago... there was a shelf there before so I never noticed... hence me posting at 2am, just finished patching it, luckily I had fast set mortar on hand.... cause fieldstone foundations suck

Anyone have any input on what's going on with my southern bananas here? It's the only plant doing this... pH is fine and shes getting the same nutes as everything else... @Amos Otis has SB shown any nutrient sensitivity before? 20201005_145518.jpg

She's still growing like crazy so I'm not super concerned, I find a lot of plants snap out of it when I throw them into flower, but this is a little more pronounced than usual. Only thing I can think of is the low temps I've been having... I've heard under LEDs low canopy temp can affect nutrient uptake, but I'm not sure what to do about it... not ready to turn the heat on down there, it costs me a fortune

Ph off, or overwatering is the only thing I can think of. I've def had this issue prior I just can't remember or never found out what it was actually caused by. I added some Myco once and it did something similar , I added to much and the pH dropped hard. Sorry for rambling hope she snaps out if it ,?

she might be a light feeder maybe back off the nutes , add a little cal mag & dry her out the existing growth probably wont show the change you have to watch your new growth to see if it's getting better

I’d second @Frimpong and say it could be overwatered. Can you check on the roots?

So I don't think it's overwatering, she's in coco and only gets watered once a day...pH was my first thought but my nutrients self pH the water to 5.9-6.1 pretty reliably... this is why I've been kinda stumped

@Frimpong funny you should mention Myco though... she got hit with some Life+ recently, maybe I should lay off it

I'm such a light feeder usually... but it's definitely a thought. I haven't needed CalMag in so long I don't even think I have it anymore... trip to the hydro shop may be in the works tomorrow. Which is fine.... @.Smoke and you have me considering trying some different growing methods ... hempy SCROG maybe? I was a little mean to the Chem D x Banana OG and want to give her another run... have some nice healthy clones lol

Kinda high and dreaming big right now

Man I use that shit so sparingly now lol. And I have been fucked over by just one overwatering. I add a perlite always now .

The worst part is I just added it back to see if it actually makes a difference in coco or if I'm just wasting money... honestly kinda feel like it's a waste of money for me, I don't see much improvement with it

I don't have a clue, @Gentlemancorpse . I run everything in DWC, and give all plants the exact same nute regimen. I'd say 85% run pretty much trouble free, but now and then I'll get a plant that decides to simply not be happy. I've got a couple of jars of Southern Bananas that is terrific smoke from one I harvested about 3 months ago - it was the prettiest shirley in the tent.

I have very little patience for a sick plant. I'll drain the bucket, give it a couple of days in straight water, drain and replace with normal nutes. If it remains unhappy then I become unhappy, and my happiness is more important, so the plant gets terminated. I'm a chauvenist pig - I ain't hanging with no ugly shirleys.

I can't help but hold out hope the ugly ducklings grow into beautiful swans haha (or however that goes)

She'll get her chance, it's almost her turn in flower, so we'll see if things turn around there...

Speaking of beautiful Brisco's ladies... here's the Copper Candy 20201005_203027.jpg 20201005_203031.jpg 20201005_203037.jpg 20201005_203042_12.jpg 20201005_203042_07.jpg

Lots of solid little nugs throughout, great structure and color and man the smell... still can't get over how different it smells if you don't touch it and after you rub the nugs... starts all spice and pepper but shifts to pure, sweet candy

too bad you are not DTW . DTW is the shit and makes things way more simple and eliminates the negative part of coco. I could never see being dtw being beat in coco since coco retains so much salt and that 15-20% run off should never be used again. And I run good based stuff and even salt eating bacteria daily

Like other said . ph issues or salt build up.If your in coco,1. have your ph at 6.0

2.make sure your your ph probe is correct by recalibrate or at least checking the 4.0/7 formula to see what their number say . better safe than sorry .

3.are you doing run-off of 15-25% minimum , coco retains and that’s a must and in veg it should be 400-700ppm max , flower 700-1500ppm max with Co2

more I used fungus and bennies less I used over amounts of nutes and got better results . But that’s all On you and so many plants don’t want over feeding . Key is to even have a good medium and if you have certain generics that want more, give them dry amendment boost or boost them weekly with a foliar/drench of w/e their npk extra needs are . Easy peezy

Thanks for the suggestions man!

Yeah, salt build up is another potential issue... pretty sure pH is good, I have a Bluelabs pen that I calibrate regularly, and it's the only one of many plants getting the same mix showing the issue... I'm gonna give her a good flush, let her settle down and head to flower...

For everything else you suggested, I have no idea lol.... I'mma let you in on a little secret... I have no idea how to grow weed well, I just throw seeds at mediums and when I get bored I try different seeds and different mediums

To quote my wife last night... "no one else could grow weed like you. Your an idiot. Anyone else would kill these plants doing this"... I was trying to explain to her how to care for the plants and couldn't, cause I don't measure anything or pay attention to runoff, and at any given moment I have 3 different mediums going... also I'm prone to impulsively changing my mind and then insisting it was my plan all along...

Whatever your method to your madness is, you seem to constantly be pulling down fire. I support that wholeheartedly! Positive vibes...
