Your a genius Frim... I didn't have dowels... but I did have bamboo poles... I don't trust them to hold my lights so the plants will have a little extra dark time tonight, but at least their in the tent so the cats can't fuck with them
New issue I've discovered is if I cut the poles this short the zipper barely works because there's too much slack in the canvas.... stupid 100 yr old house... might be big changes coming, the region formerly known as "someday this will be my crafting area" has officially been annexed by the armies of "I'm trying to grow more weed now hun"
Changes won't be huge I guess. For a hot second there I really considered a 4x8 tent, but some measuring and actual practical thoughts made that seem like a bad idea, so instead I have a shorter 4x4 en route as well as a 3x3 to replace my 32x32. Just cheapo tents. I'll still be picking up some space in the 3x3 and more importantly some headroom since I'll be going from a 60" to a 72" height in that tent. Meanwhile the absolute chaos at my house right now means everything is kind of neglected.....I couldn't even get to my grow room last night... just trying to get everything through for a few more rough days... electrician is coming on Monday

I have not smoked g/p yet but I been doing this awhile & all indicators point to G/P being better than monkey juice I'm considering running big n tasty & scj in the same run I've got a backlog of strains & need to start running some of them my house pretty old too

Height is the reason I have a 4*4 instead of a 5*5 . What a bitch. We do what we gotta do though. ?. And man that 3*3 is gonna be alot bigger than the 32*32. Excited for ya!

I've been bugging Hydro as to when his next seed drop is. I really want to try the monkey juice, but now I'm really interested to find out if the G/P is stronger in your opinion.
I'm a bit of a heavy smoker. (Gorilla Glue kinda strength all day) so I'd be really interested in any info you guys can share on his gear.

The Monkey Juice was some potent smoke so if Herk thinks the GP will end up stronger that's some serious stuff... I don't think Red has a drop coming until Christmas, a storm trashed several of his moms so he's kind of starting over. Your best bet may be to post over in the Trade section and see if anyone has any extras... I'd happily send you some but I already sent my extras to another member
Did Edmands Path up to Eisenhower... love the tri-pyramids, that's a great hike... I had great weather too... until I summited and the winds were about 35mph lol... I didn't stay up top for long
I started doing the 4ks in my teens, got a little sidetracked when I moved to VT for a while and am circling back... only 4 left to go, should finish next year

Haven't been growing long, so everything I have is "nothing special" regular seedbank stuff.
Haven't had the chance to do much pheno hunting or anything of that nature yet.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, this is a good group, people are usually willing to help another grower out even if there's nothing coming in return. Never hurts to ask, you may be surprised.

I'm real close to chopping g-p & you gotta remember it took me 3 plants to get the pheno I'm running so a final evaluation is close at hand but it's looking like this is gonna check all the boxes all my g-p updates are in my 4x4 on a budget thread

Edmunds is a great trail to Eisenhower. One of the best bang for your buck. I love hitting the 4k’s but they’re getting really crowded. Unless I’m doing a full pemi loop, I stay as far away from Franconia Ridge as possible. If you ever want someone to hike with, let me know
That would be awesome! As long as you don't mind how slow I am these days lol... trying to work my way back into real hiking shape but I've got a few nagging injuries to contend with
And I'm with you... it's been getting out of control, gotta head for the deep wilderness if you want to avoid the crowds... the Greenleaf hut at Lafayette was like a fairground last time I went up there

Some amazing plants you have grown.
Makes me feel like quite the Newb, well that's cause I am. I have only harvested 3 plants, killed 1 that hermie'd, flipped one to flower yesterday, and have one in veg now.
I'm still as green as they come, but really enjoying the growing process so far.
The state I live in has a 5 plant count max, so my tents will never look like yours, but the chucking thing is fascinating to me. Maybe someday.
Sucks about your panel loosing it's main.
Those Push-O-Matic are way old school, I've only ever ran into a few of them and I been doing it for years.
However, it will be so nice when it's all upgraded.
I haven't had the chance to look around that much, but I have seen some familiar user name that I recognize from RIU.

Yeah, it was hard for me to set a good pace, I wound up chatting with an older gentleman that trip just to slow down a bit... at first my muscle memory was like "memba when you could hike 30 miles a day with an overnight pack on? Let's do that!".... two miles in I was dying lol

It's all a process man... I started much like you, except I was a broke highschool kid so my setup wasn't nearly as nice haha... started in a shower stall in a spare bathroom at a friend's house with a homemade CFL array, grew the larfiest bagseed plants but was so damn proud of myself lol
And yeah, I can't wait to have an upgraded panel and service... it's been on my radar for a while but I was trying to put it off in lieu of some other costly projects, but this forced my hand!
Really glad your spending some time perusing the site here, it's a really great community... I spent some time on RIU yesterday and it was real hard to resist engaging with some of the more combative members... never had that problem here
