Anyone have any input on what's going on with my southern bananas here? It's the only plant doing this... pH is fine and shes getting the same nutes as everything else... @Amos Otis has SB shown any nutrient sensitivity before? View attachment 31461

She's still growing like crazy so I'm not super concerned, I find a lot of plants snap out of it when I throw them into flower, but this is a little more pronounced than usual. Only thing I can think of is the low temps I've been having... I've heard under LEDs low canopy temp can affect nutrient uptake, but I'm not sure what to do about it... not ready to turn the heat on down there, it costs me a fortune
from what I can see you've got coco in a smart pot with a catch pan under it ?? you feed daily ?? I used to do the same thing sometimes you can get your coco over saturated try skipping a feeding or two until your co co dries out a bit then feed every other day until you see sign of recovery my coco would do that when the weather cooled a small fan blowing on your smart pot speeds up the evaporation I grew in coco for a long time I now use sunshine mix #4 because it allows me to feed at ph. 6.3--6.8 no ph down needed with my tap water only reason I quit doing it the way you do is I couldn't leave my plants for 3-4 days at a time

Yeah, the not being able to leave them is a major pain in the ass sometimes, I've been thinking about blumats... it's just hard to come up with a system other than hand watering that would accommodate how often I switch things up, I still have some plants in my super soil mix

blumat is something to consider for sure try drying out your coco on that one plant though it could maybe that simple

I will definitely do that!
I still run into over saturation with my e&f first sign is when the leaves don't look perky when your light kicks on when normally they pray towards the light I've made my tubs where they only flood the bottom 3-4 inches of my smart pots & the coco or in my case sunshine#4 wicks the nutrients upwards into the media since I set things up like this I've had way fewer problems pretty much automated now I did this by setting up a return line routing excess nutes right back to the reservoir when the tub fills to 3-4inches

Hey @Gentlemancorpse , I saw you have a pack of 20twenty gear, what do you know about them? I was gifted a few beans of their double durban and was lookin around for info on them.
Hi,
Sorry, I have been off the grid for a bit for harvest season. The Double Durban is a great remake of th Durban Poison. We crossed Durban Orange with Durban Poison to make it so it's sort of an In-cross. The stability is fabulous on them. Although we shaved a few weeks off of the flower time, its still a late ripening flower and needs the whole month of Oct to finish up outdoors. The terpenes are classic Durban terps, pine and citrus dominant. Please keep us posted on them and feel free to reach out anytime.

Made of Honor is definitely one of our in-house favorites. Two of our most potent strains crossed together. Both the Bad Girl and The Sour Snow are potent AF (both effects and lab results) Lab results almost always hit high 20's to low 30's with both of them The Sour Snow ranks 9.5/10 on a scale of outdoor worthiness. Bad Girl around a 7/10 (shes a little later than we prefer) Our newest drop that starts on Oct 7th is Ave of The Giants. This is a culmination of 10 years of chasing terps and joining three of our favorite terp strains together. It's an F2 (reversed) so it's quite stable and the terps are off the charts. The fumes hit your nasal cavity like ammonia lol. The smell is rotten strawberries and grapes and a fuel/gas cocktail. Slightly reminiscent of the gelatos but way more powerful. I highly recommend checking it out if you are all about the terps. Yield is average, potency is slightly above average but not like the Made of Honor.

And that's Hempy :)
Welcome to the dark side.

Edit.... @Gentlemancorpse The PITA of hand watering is what made me switch to hempy after my first grow.
Automating my feed and waste was the one single thing I've done that has improved my "quality of life growing" more than anything else.

So much time and frustration saved.

Ya, I really need to automate some part of my growing, especially since I keep expanding. I'm going to grab some stuff to set up a hempy bucket for a trial run soon I'm just working out the details. I need to give your journal a thorough read through so I get a better understanding of the system.

Making me wish I had grabbed Made of Honor as well as the Arcata Trainwreck now haha, next order I guess!

I gave a little break down of the system over on RIU a while back. Link to it if you're interested...
