Pro tip: get dumb friends, that way, if you end up growing shitty weed, you can trick them into thinking its good weed by hyphing it hard enough.
I've played that magic mystery tour before. This is my preferred method for a simple, inexpensive, and re-usable way to individually label seeds or cuts. It works in RW cubes, coir/peat pellets, plugs, soil, or any small starter pot.
Using this semi rigid, but flexible plastic, "No Trespassing" sign I picked up for $.59, I can make a couple hundred mini labels. This one has a black side, but you can find them in white as well, for double sided labels.
I cut strips and then cut to desired sizes for whatever I need. Nip off/blunt the sharp tips if they curl. Label with a permanent marker or sharpie.
While cheap and easy enough to just make more, the permanent marker can be removed with some 90% iso Alcohol and a green scrubby pad for re-use.
Be careful if you use any oil based sprays like neem. I've had to re-label a few as unknown after the neem oil spray blurred or distorted my markings
When I run out of standard plant stakes/labels for larger pots, I do as I've seen others here do. Grab the white plastic cutlery (knives are my fav) and you are good to go.

Seems like it might work. Might be messy. I'm hand waterer too. It is a pain. Especially when you are running bunch of different strainsSo I'm a hand waterer, always have been. I have been thinking of ways to streamline my watering, and I think I came up with something. Those squirt guns, stream machines, where you stick it in the water, pull it up to load it, and then push it back in to squirt. basically an XXXXXXXXL syringe. So I'm thinking I can just make my water/nutes mixed in 5 gallon buckets instead of my 5 liter can, and then just roll it over on a cart and just suck and feed. that way I can reach plants in the back without having to move others out of the way or lean all the way over with a heavy can of water.
would like any input on this idea. Maybe you see something that can make it even better? Maybe it sucks and i'm a stupid idiot? lemme know!

I have a similar device, but with a funnel attached at one end.The thing with syringes is they can get sticky specially big ones.
Here's my watering hack
Edit: that I stole from one mr.sunshine.

Both elbows are lose so water can be directed/slowed down. Usually I point it straight down, unless I am watering a plant on the floor.
Such a great idea. I used whatever "y-stems" I could find in the rolling tray ? partially cuz it was within reaching distanceDental flossers are like training wheels for seedlings. Help with top heavy seedlings.

I have a similar device, but with a funnel attached at one end.
Currently what I use is a 5 gal bucket with a pump, 8 ft of hose on it, and a watering wand with shut off valve at the end.
Love the lighter! You a Michigan resident or just a freebie you got with an order? I’ve lived in the mitten my whole life!Seed germination Step 1: Place seeds in scuffer and scuff ( 120 grit sandpaper glued to the inside of the box) Step 2: Soak seeds in RO water with a dash of h2o2 24 hrs. Step 3: Use your preferred method from this point. I do not use the paper towels. I plant directly in coco and have a very high germination View attachment 4995 rate.
Just a freebie from a order i believe.Love the lighter! You a Michigan resident or just a freebie you got with an order? I’ve lived in the mitten my whole life!
So I have this in use and wanted to post on it again. It's being used on some seeds from a breeding project I'm working on.Another one is when I start seeds in winter time here with my drafty house and low RH. I like to use the paper towel method between small glass saucers.
Then I put the saucers under a Brinsea ecoglow 20 led chicken brooder light. It keeps the glass and towels warm. Works like a charm

Similar to a garden hose setup. Lol.Genius!!! I think I'm gonna steal that. So basically just like a garden hose setup Then I could just do 2 or 3 buckets with different food ratios in it if need be and just drop the pump in each. Thanks for sharing
Multi purpose as well. You could run out of toilet paperSimilar to a garden hose setup. Lol.
I used parts out of my plumbing box.

The standard irrigation pump threads and accessories also fit shut off valves and fittings. Lol.
Timed it while I filled a gal jug and it's about 20 seconds. So I can keep track of how much water is used.
FWIW ball jars and kerr jars are like 50 gram difference.Another good one for y'all.
Weigh your empty jars and write the weight on the bottom of the jar in permanent marker or such.

An 8 gram difference between jars.

Kinda neat as well can figure out moisture content lost from storing long term etc.
