Pretty sure it was on another forum, but, there was a debate about variegation in cannabis being a virus...TMV.. tomato mosaic virus to be specific..and that this virus affects cannabis and is contracted by contact with other infected plants... Which I've never been a subscriber of any of those claims.

So, here's my stake to say otherwise. I have two variegated plants in this tent... Both of which were/are in direct contact with other plants and it's not spreading or infecting/affecting any others or growth rates in the least...

The bottom right, clearly in direct, day in and day out, contact with other plants that show no variegation and/or slow down in the least.

Also, I think I jumped the gun a bit on my first impression/assumption of 12/12 from seed ordeal. The bigger more mature plants were up first, 1-2 weeks ahead of the others, which explains the differences in sizes and vigor. So, I'll refrain final judgement until it's all said and done. 6-10 weeks to go, give or take, and I'll reassess ?

Also, since it looks like the worst of the heat of summer is behind us here (for the most part anyway, shouldn't be much, if any, 100+ days in the forecast) I have finally decided and locked in on what I'm running next.

It was a really really tough decision... Especially with my daughter pulling packs out of my stash all like "oooh, what's this one? Oooh, this one sounds really good! Oooh, you should grow these ones!"

Me:"Oh, ya, that's gonna be fire, I'll do that one next run. Yes I know it sounds good, that's why I got them in the first place. I know right?!"

Alright look here you lil shit, I asked for your help cause I'm trying to narrow them down and you keep pulling out more fire! Fucking up my whole train of taught n shit. Yes, I want to run them all, but I need to narrow em down for this one damnit!

? Fuck that was rough?

Ok, without further ado, here they are

Freak Genetics- Don Johnson x4
Ghost Genetics- Szechuan Sauce x4
3-Thirteen Seeds- Greases Pieces (F)x2
- Citrus MILF (F)x2
Kold Kasiz- Endorscore x MimosaHP x2
Jewels- Blood Sour LVTK x2
And last but not least
Idlewilder- Sour Boggle F2 x4

For a total of 20 seeds. With 4 being fems, leaves me with 16 regs, half of which I'm expecting to be male, leaving me with 8 more reg fems for 12 total females. And I'm not even sure which ones I'm most juiced about!

I have a few crosses in mind that I'd like to do if everything works out in my favor? But at very least, I'm gonna make more Sour Boggle to preserve the genetics. Gonna either select 1 boy and 1 girl to take em to F3, or if I have issues choosing I'll just open pollinate the bunch, with the seeds I pop. We'll see what pops up.

But Idle also included some pollen from the F1s he grew and according to this here chart

and my understanding of it is that using a male from the F1 pool to pollinate a female from the F2 pool constitutes a backcross. So, even in the unlikely event that I don't get any males for F3 and/or preservation, I'll still make out with the BX batch regardless!

Gonna keep things clean, and the IPM tight this go... cause fuck any and all terrorist, plant-damaging, bugs!

After all the fire ass plants I've been seeing posted from half these genetics...and just the sound/genetic makeup of the other half that I've yet to witness... Needles to say, I'm super excited about this one! These will take a swim for the full moon coming up this weekend!

The LVTK seedbearer was orange fanta soda pop.

That Bloody Male blessed everything he touched.

I have grown out the Affie crosses, the Crocketts crosses, the GF Diesel, Blu-Blooded Romulans and a couple I forgot.
Every one a winner.
He consistantly passed Mandrin and Tangerine on the pleasant end, moving darker toward goo-gone and orange-oil polish. If you are a lucky duck, you may encounter some WD/40, electrical fire, tacobell , or a chicken diner.

This is the branch pollinated seed Mom.

Late bloomers and not afraid to stretch.

Dont be discouraged if they are looking whispy. They will bud all the way down.

I run everything long, even so, no point in more than 77 days of 12's if you are starting with a 5 week old plant.
Super pumped to see the Bloody LVTK.

Thanks Jewels! "Who loves orange soda? I love orange soda! I do, I do, I dohoo!" It was a tough decision which to choose out of what you sent me. They all sound really good to me. I definitely wanted something with the blood in it, which most of them do, but I think it was the LVTK in this one that leaned me in this direction.

I've never had the pleasure of growing or smoking her. I've just seen crosses, pictures, and people talk a good game about it online. And I was shooting for some power smoke from this run, so it just seemed like a good fit. Can't wait!!

The 3 smaller ones have still yet to show sex? not sure what's up with them. I topped the taller male (cracked 1-2 weeks prior to the other 3) and placed the cut in a cup of water to collect some pollen. Switched the lights to 16/8 to reveg the pot for a couple weeks or so... Trying to make em worth somethin' in the end I guess... we'll see what happens.

The CherryDosidos pot #1 with 2 females showing... One microscopic runt way down low (it's blurry) lol, not even sure why I haven't plucked it yet...it's comical... Guess I'm just genuinely curious to see if it snaps out of it and does something... Probly not but, only one way to find out, lol

The CherryDosidos pot #2 that had 3 plants...I snapped one at the base by accident, but it was showing boy parts and didn't smell anything special anyway, no biggie...so, we're left with 2. 1 variegated, 1 normal, both yet to reveal sex.

Got some beans wet the other night

Here we are 48 hours later

100% on everything so far... except the DonJohnson 0/4 and the SzechuanSauce 0/4. 2/4 of each look like they at least cracked shell..

If you look closely, I had double embryos on most the Sour Boggles

Everything that sprouted went into rapid rooters in a tray. Everything else went back into the ziplock

This was the first time for me too. Only ever saw it in other people's grows..

3/4 had doubles. The only one that popped out a single looked like it had something else still in the shell that didn't make it. I hope they all make it, but there's a couple that were smaller and weaker looking than their counterparts. One set still had the shell attached and I couldn't break them free just yet, so put em in a rapid rooter as was. We'll see if they'll root or what happens in the next couple of days.

Thanks WillieP! Got my gear cleaned up, and weather is finally cooling down. So, ready to fill up the 4x4 back up! I really hope I can get the DonJohnson and SzechuanSauce seeds to pop...been really looking forward to growing those 2? In any event, I'm expecting some incoming fire ? from all these crosses?

I know this is arguably the most boring part of any grow. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in on them ..They all want to live!

Spent the night in the bathroom with just a single household led bulb a few feet up above. Most have dropped their shells and are reaching.

The SourBoggles

The one in the back was the single embryo that sprouted. The one(s) below it were the first duals that got sperated. Next one down is the one (s) I couldn't separate. The bottom one has an aborted tap on top of the plug.

Got some movement on the SzechuanSauce, 2/4 have tails.
