Those OG Kush Breath leaning ones look amazing! I actually have enjoyed every "Breath" Strain I've tried so far; Motor Breath, and Garlic Breath are the only two I've tried so far and I've enjoyed them. I have a Motor Breath seedling going right now which is about 8 - 10 feet tall, now that I've learned that SVF OG Kush x Chemdog likes it dry and NOT wet LOL.... Almost killed both my plants of Motor Breath last year because at first it seemed to enjoy a little extra water, but as it aged, it didn't and was pretty yellow right before I figured out I was the problem.... LOL poor plants had huge buds dragging all the stems down, had to be tied up because it was a weak plant with little tiny branches, and so when it when into Flower, the size of the buds had that plant with a Parabolic bend haha.

The Garlic Breath was nice, and OG Kush Breath is also on my list of "wanna try it" too.

Anyone around here crossed Blue Cheese with anything? Blue Cheese is without a doubt my ALL time favorite strain EVER. Be interesting to see what Greases Pieces x Blue Cheese would smell like haha. The Grease Monkey and Motor Breath and Chemdog I have right now next to my Blue Cheese and Strawberry Diesel Plants.... And one Cactido, and one Bubblegum, and a Skywalker..... I'm surprised Semco hasn't showed up asking about gas leaks haha.

Looks good! I've never had the Sin City Juice before, but I have had Detroit Lemonade which I think Juice is a parent of. This year I had to pick and choose what to grow so that I stayed within legal limits, so I narrowed this year's to the following:

Blue Cheese, Chemdog, Candy Kush, Hawaiian Sunshine, Grease Monkey, Skywalker, Motor Breath, Strawberry Diesel, Cactido, and Bubblegum. The Cactido and Bubblegum were given to me, the Strawberry Diesel I got two Seeds of from a close friend, and Motor Breath I had gotten two clones of last year and loved it, so I saved all my seeds from the buds I smoked, and I keep my seeds all marked and in separate bags, so I started that from seed this year, and the Candy Kush I got seeds of from smoking it basically, which is how I got Chemdog too, and the Grease Monkey came from some bud we picked up at the Dispensary and Thank God we managed some seeds, and BOTH are female !!!!! I'm very excited about that as it's not like they were feminized or anything, and as they grew and grew, I found the white hairs I was looking for, and then the other seed did the same! They are pretty huge plants too; The grow guide I found said they can get large, so I stuck them under a wooden structure we set up last year and they reached it LOL.

The Blue Cheese I had seeds of from last year's grow and managed to get two female Seedlings going, and then took clones off the first one to show being female, and the other I didn't clone as we needed to keep our numbers of plants legal, but I'd grow fields of Blue Cheese if I could haha. Skywalker was one we had a clone of last year, and I've always liked it, so I started seeds of that too and managed to get a Female going. The Hawaiian Sunshine was one we got a bag of last year and had ONE seed in the WHOLE bag, and Thank God it was female! I ended up trying out some experiments with it, and it was planted sideways, and I cut all the branches off that one side facing the soil, and all the side branches ended up growing straight up, and branching out, and it's massive now LOL!

^ Strawberry Diesel Seedling I took one clone off, and it's branched up quite a bit too.

^ That is the Hawaiian Sunshine which I started out using I think Fiberglass Sticks to bend the top of the plant down, and as it got longer, eventually we put the mesh to sort of keep it going.

The green sticks you can see in some of these pictures, are what I've been using this year to sort of "guide" which areas of the plants I want to do testing on; The Blue Cheese Plants, I mainly just used those sticks to pull the bottom branches down to allow more sunlight to get in there, and then after a while I took the sticks out and let the plant continue doing it's thing, and for some of the strains, I used them to basically pull the plant sideways so that the side branches would grow upwards and, so far it's been working nicely. I didn't cut ALL the branches off the entire side that ends up facing down to the dirt like I did with the Hawaiian Sunshine, but I do think I need to experiment a little more, since the plants I have that I used the sticks on did very well in terms of having more branches in the bottom area without having to cut them off since they had good Sunlight getting in there, and for me, I like that, since it's REALLY hard for me to actually chop branches off Blue Cheese without wanting to clone them LOL.

I put that gifted pack of mothers milk to good use. I popped 4 beans and got 2 beautiful females. I have a really good feeling about these 2. These are from yesterday. They are now on day 2 of flower. Mothers milk 2 is from a dual embryo seed. It was the runt and it turned into one of my nicest ladies. What a resilient plant!

Those both look great. Im suprised to see you got the runt to grow to its own pot. The bigger twin usually dominates the runt into submission soon after germination in my experiences. Last one I had that actually lived was in my Orange Julius F1's.

I tried to give it a chance in its own pot:

But this is as far as it made it after a week:

Do you remove the bottom portion of the plants because lights in a grow room don't penetrate those areas or to have the plant push all it's energy to the tops, or both? Or? I do something similar with mine once they're at a size I feel is OK and I take branches off the bottom, or I use sticks to pul the bottom branches down to allow more light to get in there, or I just remove the bottom ones, and then go through a while later and cut out branches in the lower middle section sometimes, or, like last year, I experimented a bit with the 3 Detroit Lemonade plants I had, and I cut off every branch that wasn't directly connected to the main branch, and that way worked great on Detroit Lemonade! The one I did this with the most ended up being basically all tops and colas for most of the plant and looked amazing when it was almost "done" heh. I had 3 of the same plant and wanted to see what would happen, and it turned out pretty sweet. I let the plant grow for a while before I cut anything off, and once I had finished trimming branches, I waited a while, and watched to see where new branches would poke out, and where the smaller stuff was that didn't get much light. I leave my leaves alone for the most part unless they're yellow, as from what I understand, the shade leaves are where nutrients get stored for the buds and they also seem to be the first thing to tell you when something is wrong with the plant.

@jpockets420 do you have any double serrations on the MM1?
Yes I have seen a double serration here and there on her. I'll take a closer look next time I can get my wife to bring her upstairs for me to look at.

I have really bad luck with intersex issues on the lowers so I trim them high and that usually keeps that from happening. Lack of penetration from these QBs is the reason. I never trimmed quite that high using HID lighting. My wife is taking care of the garden because I'm injured and can't walk so well, so I wanted to make it very easy on her.

Monkey juice kindly donated from @Amos Otis on day 25. My wife is doing great with these. She lst'd it so hopefully we can get a little bit of great flower off of her. I don't expect much on yield, we just want a little too try it out. Much bigger grow next round! We had a little slot on the left side of our 4×4 for some small plants and we had to include some monkey juice. I'll post an update every week. Day 2 of flower. I'm proud of my wife for performing that 90° bend without snapping her in half lol

OK thanks ! I was just curious. By the way that bend is fantastic ! I tried plants "bent over" for my first time this year. I'm not a super experienced grower or anything... LOL far from it. I do read a LOT and I'm not scared of experimenting when I've got more than one, so I try things out, and currently this is my third year growing my own. My first year was surprisingly good Thank God; My Fiance and I were at a friend's house and he had clones, and we decided we'd get two of them, and my vote went for Blue Cheese of course, and my Fiance ended up choosing Sunshine as her strain to grow. I didn't do ANY kind of anything with Blue Cheese really other than once it got too big to not have some support we puts mesh over it so it wouldn't fall over, and like a moron I was giving this ONE plant like 5 gallons of water a day.... LOL this post might make me look like an idiot, but if one person sees this and doesn't do that, then it's worth looking stupid.

I legit gave that plant gallons of water every day, and Thank God I only lost like a couple small buds to mold and the plant stayed nicely green too. I didn't remove any branches or leaves and basically just let it grow.

Last year was my second time growing, and when the clones became available (I hadn't learned how to start from seed yet at the time) so I got two Blue Cheese Clones, and then I had 3 Detroit Lemonade plants, a Skywalker, and two Motor Breath, and for the first time; Nutrients! Detroit Lemonade did wonderful, Skywalker did too, Blue Cheese were both pretty small as I didn't get them until like early July I think so they missed some veg time for sure, but boy did they produce!

Detroit Lemonade also produced like crazy, and with the way I trimmed the branches (since I had more than two plants I got to play a little) and I found that by trimming out the middle section, which allows air flow, and then waiting for a few weeks or so, I then went through and every branch that was not connected to the main, it seemed to concentrate all the energy to the branches that were left, and I had wonderful branches and with no real "small side branches" using up any energy the plant basically turned into tops and colas.

I'd like to try some more next year now that I'm starting to learn a bit more, and so this year, my third year growing, I did a similar strategy with Motor Breath, and Skywalker again, and I have a Candy Kush plant that once it was taller, I bent it almost in half like a Parabolic bend (An Ugly Stik Logo for the anglers here) and used sticks to hold the top down, and I posted some pics of the Hawaiian Sunshine sideways which turned out crazy to the point I've been removing branches from it because there's so many.

I literally just cut off every branch that was on the side facing the dirt, and then the others found where the Sunlight was coming in, and grew straight up, and so far it's been pretty awesome. Not sure I'd do this if I was doing these in a tent though, LOL, they'd be hard to keep mold away from because of the branches everywhere.

Now I'm seeing strains listed on here and I'm wondering if you guys know what the parents of Citrus Milf and Monkey Juice are ?

The parents of Citrus MILF are: Bodhi's "Mothers Milk" (f1 candy hearts pheno) and Breeders Boutique's "Plemon".

The parents of Monkey Juice are: Gorilla Glue #4 (clone only) and Jungle Boys' "Mimosa". This cross (though not labeled as such) is actually a BX1
so (GG4 x (GG4 x Mimosa)

NICE! Mother's Milk from what I can tell has both Green Crack and Tres Dawg in it's genetic lineage and that sounds pretty wonderful! Mimosa is another strain I've enjoyed in my days too so I have to say that's a great sounding strain with a nice genetic background as well. I've actually enjoyed quite a few GG#4 crosses myself (The Grease Monkey I'm currently growing is GG#4 x Cookies and Cream). I'd love to be able to put a setup together to cross some strains too, but I'm not so sure my skill level is at a point I'd want to try yet, as I'd probably mess up somewhere LOL. Are these strains ones you did ? Also does BX1 mean that it's a cross where GG#4 was crossed with Mimosa, and then THAT strain was then crossed with GG#4 ? The BX1 and F1 parts I'm not sure about.

Yes, they are both 3Thirteen Seeds crosses. Correct on the BX1 also (resulting strain is crossed back to an original parent). The Monkey Juice will tend to show a lot of the GG4 characteristics simply on being a BX1. The Mimosa was intended to add a bit to the flavor profile and to help aide in the stretch associated with GG4. The result has been a very stable & flavorful feminized selection.
