Day 25. Tent was delayed yet again. Not much happened on the Table. Gifted that Peyote Critical clone (the last of 4 I was holding), a couple JEM males, and a JEM female to a friend who has IBS. Hit everything left with an aloe foliar after lights out.
IMG_20210128_224903.jpg

Closet plants got sprayed and watered, girls were thirsty. Not drooping, but lighter than Id like. They took about 3L each. Sangria Cookies (Front Left), CLHP (Back Left), ASA05 (Back Right), and ASA02 (Front Right). CLHP is dealing with a minor white fly issue, cant seem to shake it, only one in the Closet. Did a thorough dousing of the CLHP with plain water in the sprayer, then hit everything with EM-5. Closet got wiped down with EM-5. Assassin bugs are en route, Ill just keep at it. Im going to put the 3 shorter plants on risers tomorrow.
IMG_20210128_222050.jpg

And lastly @Gentlemancorpse too kind. Not sure which of these I am most excited about, I think that @Mim Towls BB x BCP will be ran first, next to @Frimpong Blackberry Sugarcane.

Ahh I know! Just saw your pic/post, looks amazing. Too many good options right now. I got these 2 Orangeberry Smoothies that are begging to be wet along side the Buford OG and the BoO... But all this delightful BB just arrived... After this Mandalorian grow I need to get everything on a solid perpetual rotation. The gears are turning on adding another space...

Days 26, 27, and 28... Was busy. Tent showed up, had to cut some holes in it. Installed an exhaust fan and some activated carbon filter sheet, put the carbon filter sheet in the intake port for basic filtering (the intake port includes a light baffle from the manufacturer) and over the exhaust port (for light blocking). Just threw an old Viparspectra 600 I had lying around in there for now. Its technically the wife's first indoor grow space for her witchy herb and veggie garden, but I'm highjacking it temporarily to help me with this Mandalorian selfing project. I think ultimately we'll put a 25 gallon Radicle Bag in here, folded over. Its our first fabric grow space, and overall I am pleased. Still waiting on these 4 to confirm fem.

IMG_20210201_150636.jpg

Finished the last few things on my Cabinet build from this fall, added the second panel to my existing 3 light baffles, then added a 4th to the front. I cut a piece of the activated carbon sheet for each of the grill interiors to function as both a light block and basic intake filter. Finally did the cable management I had been needing to do, which included adding a proper cord cutout cover for the main cord entry point, which additionally got some air conditioning filter foam stuffed in it. I adjusted the 2x HLG135 RSpecs to draw 100w each (on my Kil-a-wat) for a total of 200w. Changed how the lights interface with the cabinet and gained an additional 4 inches of ceiling height. Cabinet got vacuumed, wiped down, and reloaded.

Mixed some stuff into a bag of soil. EB Stone Recipe 420, added 2 cups Breiss malted barley (blended just before use), 12 cups Bu's Compost, 6 cups BAS worm castings, 1 cup BAS insect frass, and 1 heaping cup BAS Craft Blend.

Hit the table with 2 gallons of plain water bottom watered before I up potted, they were dry and needed moisture. They will get pruned and watered tonight. Everything is crammed in here for a few days.

Day 29. Pruned, sprayed, and watered. All the rounds got 1700mL, the squares got 1000mL. Agsil, Pacific Gro Ocean Hydrolysate w/ Bio Char at 15mL per gal, Rootwise Mycrobe Complete, and Rootwise Bio Phos BAS freeze dried coconut and sprayed with EM-5.

Day 30. Let loose the hounds of war, both in the Closet and Cabinet. Yesterday I set the first container in the Cab for a few hours, then moved it into the Closet overnight. Tonight I opened the second container and put it in the Cab, where I'll leave it over night. Tomorrow I'll pull all the cards/containers and put them in the pop up greenhouse to cruise the males. I ordered 250 and Arbico sent me 2x already hatching containers of 500, definitely plenty of bang for my buck.

So here is the CLHP... Clearly my shortcomings as a grower have made themselves evident here. I hadnt planned on her stretch, and didnt prune her appropriately. She has and continues to have aphids which I should have been able to get under control before flower, despite excessive pruning. At this point she is a thorn in my side, and may just end up as my "can I flower a fem outdoors from Feb to May" experiment... I am on the fence. Part of this is due to me hurriedly wetting some fems because in a panic I worried Id end up with 1 female ASA and I wanted an excuse to wet some CLG. I look forward to running this again, when I am better prepared for her.
IMG_20210202_234842.jpg

That being said the Sangria Cookies is far and away the star of the Closet. She either likes what Im giving her more than everything else, or she's just that much more forgiving.

Day 34 & 35. Been a busy few days, phone crapped out, and we've been getting the vegetable starts ready; plenty more to go, but this is the 50 heads of lettuce, 4 spinach, 12 kale, 36 broccoli/cauliflower, 12 basil, 2 celery, and 1 fennel, and 9 mass onion plantings the wife and I got started yesterday.
PXL_20210207_181319724.jpg

Ive also been hardening off the Mandalorian males to flower outside in the pop up green house. Overnight temps are in the high 40s, daytime highs in the high 70s, inside it gets too hot zipped up during the day, 90+, I am working on the timing of when to seal it up to help trap warmth overnight. Threw that privacy shade fabric over them the first full day they spent out.
PXL_20210206_192359316.jpg

These are the breeder males chosen to self the Anvil line. They were chosen due to their sac / cluster density and the fact that they were showing reddish purple hues on their sac bases early on. They had the most vigorous vertical growth, and were both very uniform in size and structure. This is the morning after their first night out (22hrs after transplant).
PXL_20210207_173957521.jpg

Some of the other Anvils that did not make it were these 2 here. One was slightly, but noticably shorter and was the slowest to begin flowering. The reddish purple color also seemed weaker on the sacs, almost non present. The other showed similar vertical vigor and strong branching similar to the chosen 2, but was slower to flower and is showing weaker color. Unsure if I want to flower them out or compost them.
PXL_20210207_174039398.jpg

Here are the JEMs selected. They have been the densest flower clusters this whole project, first to show. I have another JEM female in the Radicle Bag that has amazing growth, but in regard to pollen does not compare to what these two gents have going on. The soil for the the 2 pots with the males is recycled reamended Coots that sat for months, cut with some soil from my last indoor grow. We'll see what it does.
PXL_20210207_174012416.jpg

Indoor plants for watered last night. The recently up potted Cab and Tent plants were a bit over watered on day 30 and looked as such. The more mature Closet plants looked unaffected. I hit the young plants with 1 qt of Agsil, BAS Coconut, and Ful-Power solution each, the more mature plants got 2qts. Im going to check them tonight and likely water in another 1qt all around. Ill try to shoot some pics tonight.

hehe high 40s.
My local -
Each winter, on average, your risk of frost is from September 16 through June 10.
Almost certainly, however, you will receive frost from October 1 through May 18.

You are almost guaranteed that you will not get frost from July 3 through September 1.

Your frost-free growing season is around 98 days.

It's fun a torturous to watch tho.

Day 36. Transplanted an Anvil I couldnt gift away into a 10 gal outside. Went from doing single branch all around to instead open pollinating. Going to be doing 2 females and 3 (maybe 4 - I have one that is more of a green pheno less desired trait) males for the Anvil, and 2 females and 2 males (maybe 3 - one has great branching but super slow to flower and hasnt stacked much yet. Great healthy color. Ill shoot some pics tomorrow, here is the throw away seed mother Anvil, Anvil 09.
PXL_20210208_203942644.jpg

Cabinet got hit with nematodes and I selected my breeder fems. The fungus gnats were out of control after my overwatering fiasco, things are still showing a bit of strain but they are infact bouncing back. 1 more Anvil and 2 JEMs set aside to go outside with the males. Nematode mix was a heaping 1/4tsp of each variety into 1 gal, bubbled. Added aloe (25%) and coconut at the last minute. Sprayed directly onto the soil surface heavily.
PXL_20210209_034543316.jpg

These are the Anvil I chose from. Anvil 09 is already outside. They all look and smell similar, clearly denser growth on 03 and 06.
PXL_20210209_034341933.jpg

I originally thought this was a pot variation, thinking F4 Meph genetics would be pretty stable, but when looking these plants over I noticed this is sativa leaning in leaves as well as height.

And here are the 5 JEMs I chose from, I wouldnt choose the 2gal w/ 1gal of soil in it, because I dont want to have to manage that moisture outside. 2 of them have more tree like structure and greener color with more subtle fade to purple, and lighter leaf color. 3 of them have darker purple stems and darker leaves. I chose 1 of each pheno type to put outside.

So these got over watered, but they are starting to recover. Several times in my life I have over watered when up potting, this time in particular because I knew I would be applying the nematodes, and wanted them to go into a moist environment... Over shot my mark. There is plenty of nutrition in the soil, there is just some lock out and stress going on.

You are too kind sir, I have plenty to learn, but Im doing what I can when and how I can. The fact that my count is what it is has definitely lead to inefficiencies and mistakes, I knew plant size and performance would be affected, the price I was willing to pay to grow out as many plants as I am trying to, with selfing these genetics in my limited space being my priority. I also foolishly decided to run 4 different pots (for science!) and realized on transplant day that only 1 really worked for my needs... Looking forward to doing things better next time. As soon as these seeds are ready they will be going into outdoor pots and ran for flower and enjoyment, its then I hope I can do them justice. Next up is your Gorilla Hammer alongside Gorilla Zee by @J. James - might fill any holes with that BoO or Copper Orgi.

JEM Fem Breeders (left 2), first day in the sun. Threw these ones in the pool so to speak the others got hardened off over 5 days, these fems got thrown out yesterday, end of day at low sun. I kept them outta direct most the day, but where they are they will get hammered tomorrow, hope they are up for it. Sink or swim.
PXL_20210211_010805063.jpg
That JEM 10 looks great, but very slow to show sex, equally slow to flower. If it didnt look so good I would have composted it, but because he looks so good Im doubting myself.

Here are the true JEM breeder males. I like the branching and vegetative growth of 02, but 01 has had an earlier and heavier pollen sac set.

Since I had the plants out, I figured Id swap the Cab and Closet, as the autos will need more room, and the photos have stretched all they are going to and can easily be managed in the Cab.
