Oh I've had Mephisto for a while... I've run a few of their strains now...

I emailed RocBud after his last drop sold out so quickly and never got a response so I gave up on him... if my last bitcoin purchase had gone smoothly I would have considered ordering a pack through Neptune but we'll, it didn't...

Honestly I'm questioning the RBI hype anyways... I haven't seen anything from his gear but theres always people like us trying to get it... starting to seem like the hype comes from the scarcity as much as the actual product

The hassle getting good autos these days just isn't worth it to me...

I'll wait for the 20twenty releases for my next auto purchase unless RBI makes it easier to get his stuff

Roc bud Inc in my experience is very nice genetics. On par with mephisto in my garden. Can't say better or worse than mephisto, but definitely a solid genetics. Honestly, Mando, Ronin, Roc and mephisto all seem to put me at my 2 Oz min mark at harvest. I feel like I'm forgetting somebody, but it's early. But I can't recommend those guys enough. I have never grown a squat, little "lowryder" from any of them. Just my humble opinion though.

Neptune carries Roc stuff, very fast and easy to deal with, highly recommended bank. Ill tell you who the "hype" machine is out there in the auto world, Fast buds. They seem to keep a lot of lowryder gene. I have seen some squaty little plants from them for sure. Thinking about it actually, I did throw down one of their blackberry kush. It did not get me an ounce. That run I had also run a bunch of ronin bum wine, and averaged about 3 a plant across about 6-8 plants. Can't remember total count. Again just my experience and opinion for whatever it's worth.

Nice to see you finally getting some Mephisto beans. I've been talking to RocBudInc and am in the process of making a purchase. Will keep you guys updated, as word going around seems to be they are better than Mephisto.

Anyone know anything about Mephisto outsourcing their breeding process? I just have bits and pieces.

Outsourcing the breeding process? I'm not following you? I definitely do not pretend to know much at all, but I do not think that's happening. Collaboration, and then the offshoot Co of night owl maybe what youre thinking. But I'd like to know what you mean or what you've heard. Also, Roc bud Inc can be picked up easily from neptune seed bank. Highly recommend that bank.

Problem is Neptune's payment methods... I refuse to upload my ID for CC payments and I absolutely hate using bitcoin... I just did for Area 51 and hated every second of it. I could mail them a check I suppose but I hate that too. Also, the guy who runs Neptune posts a lot of stupid petty crap which is a turn off to me. But I may break down.

Hoping for great things from the Skywalker. I wanted that Ewok real bad but I got Double Grape x Skywalker as a freebie instead, which was very meh.

And his blurb in his FAQs about seedbanks having a blacklist for buyers and his all caps rant about not emailing him if your seeds don't germ ... Just seems really defensive and worried that his customers are trying to scam him.

Honestly I've never heard anything bad about buying from him from actual growers around the forums. I'd have placed an order already if I didn't get annoyed about the payments ... there's actually three packs sitting in my cart there right now.

Yeah, to be honest I really only want to do business with DCSE, GLG and JBC or breeder direct at this point... everytime I branch out from there I end up a little frustrated... I'd have to want this RocBud real bad to mess with botcoin again, and I guess I just don't want it bad enough yet

I actually hate Bitcoin too but gotta keep up with the times so I learned about it just in case. But I'd prefer not to use it. Would rather send a bank transfer or personal PayPal payment to breeder.

Neptune and most US Based seedbanks charges around 50 to ship internationally with zero guarantees. Sorry but NO. Some even blocks non US IPs which I totally despise.

The Mephisto outsourcing is not acceptable imo. And no, I'm not talking bout collaborations. There werw rumours going around that they are outsourcing. Thats not an issue if not for them promising that they "live and die with small batch breeding" to ensure their always consistent quality. When asked, the rep first said they only outsource for bulk orders. Then changed to say, "mostly bulk orders". That sounds very shady to me and it coincides with an increase in quality complaints like non germs, higher genetic variances and even hermies.

I don't really know what to think but won't be giving them my money until its all confirmed to be not true.

As for RBI, I understand the frustration. Am just happy this breeder is willing to help out a brother in prohibition land. I need more stand up dudes like that in the US. You guys know any good photo breeders around that can help me out with fire genetics like that?

Some people have attitude that meph. is obligated to them,like that wanna small company treatment,when they went global.. like cant buy seeds and etc..fck it, it's free market,who gets first, girl is hes.. I feel that breeder doesn't ovn us a shit, except keep putting quality stuff out..

No one carbon and I also run silencers. They work very well.

All my stereotypes of Autos are going out the window with this years grow..

- Mephisto Double Grape (first 2 shots)
- Mephisto Hubbasquach (3 and 4 shots)
-NL Auto ..I believe..(5 and 6 shots)

this NL Auto was grown in a 1 gal pail from about 3rd week May..Imagine the size had it been in a decent sized pot..I had to splash it with my Genesis Auto pollen as I've never seen any Auto like it..buds are stacking nicely..
