That blue ripper is a beast. I’m glad to see you taking the pests in stride. Taking the summer off will be a nice break and, like you said, not having to deal with the heat is an added bonus. Take the time to consolidate and focus on what’s next.

Thanks bud. I'm taking it a lil better than I would have ever imagined previously... But probly in big part to having the Plant Therapy honestly... After using, I don't think I could've done it/overcome this battle with just Bronner's and my random ass applications of amendments. Dr. Zymes seemed to work ok, but not as affective, and not as cost friendly imo...$7 sample sounds nice but it only makes 1gal and isn't as effective ime...buying it outright cost more but makes less in comparison to Plant Therapy.

As for the break, I haven't taken one since I started growing roughly 10 years ago. But, with the heat wave coming and the current pest issue, it just seems like the right move for the time being... My grow is not taking a break, just the popping new stuff aspect is. I've got so much other shit that needs attention around here, so hopefully this is the break I need to get my shit more together and, as you mentioned, focused ?

Alright... Here comes some more grit to the grind...

Been wondering the past few days why the Tahoe Dragon Cookies' pistils have been turning while they're only barely 3-4 weeks into flower.
Looks bit much right for this young?!

Busted out the flash light and dug under the skirts...and found some nanners, several that were very well hidden and hard to find, but came across these ( blurry, hard to get a good shot of) but it's there

Caught the Blueberry Iced Cream x Mimosa HP in the cross hairs that was right next to it.

Checked the other one... Found more on 'it' also... Also caught the other BICxMHP that was next to that one...

It's too late for this to affect the yield of the other/elders of the tent, which are a week or two out, or to produce mature Herm seed. So I'm not really tripping on those atm.

But...

All four have been separated for the time being. Hosed all those bitches down.

The BICxMHP's, I couldn't find anything concerning on those...aside from receding pistils. They will rejoin and finish flowering as intended.

The TDCs will be separated indefinitely and monitored closely in the days to come. If they continue to nanner at all, they're getting chopped up and good riddance punk bitches... Don't got time for that shit! I'm old school and you're either a dude or a chick, there's no in-between and I have very little to no patience for hermie shit in my garden where I'm trying to grow meds.

My grow environment is harsh and stressful and for good reason (not just/simply laziness...as I can very well be at times, but). Most things I do, in general, have good reason and purpose for doing so). Stress testing... My official torture chamber has been recently retired, but was put into place to weed out the undesirables. And this is no different...hermie plants are not welcomed here!

Now, I know this may/might sound harsh to some people (especially out of context...and some more sensitive than others) but this is my garden, my log, and my meds...and we're talking of plants here (not humans... Although plants are much more evolved... Different argument...) I ramble at times...but in any event, I have the ultimate say in what goes down here in my grow ..and this ain't it!

Anyway... Sorry about the rant. But, in their defense, they have looked good up until this point, but a he/she is a he/she and we ain't fucking around with that around here.

Next post will be more positive, I promise?

?I actually laughed at myself when I read it back to myself after I posted ? I'm tolerant of most anyone also .. but herms in the garden is not one of them. I don't really comprehend any of the so called 'movements' of recent times... Most of it is dumb as fk in my opinion.

Anyhow...I know I promised a more positive update next... But I've had a rough day and came home to get greeted by more bullshit/dicks in the garden. I noticed that the BICxMHP, along with a couple others (back in the flower tent) looked more pollinated than they did yesterday. So, out of curiosity, I took a closer look at the BICxMHP. And found this

...I sprayed the site/node down as soon as I noticed...And a couple others, all, on the #1 plant. I did not find any on #2. So, #1 is back in segregation, and #2 after stripping some popcorn lowers, remains in the 4x4. The buds on both smell like bomb ass bubblegum! so I'm pretty bummed out about it not working out this go?

So... Plans have changed cause although the last harvest should last me another 3-4 months or so, give or take...And the next four plants coming down in the weeks to come should buy me at least a few more on top of that. Which, in theory, should get me through the end of the year. But the stuff currently in the veg tent is gonna be an all seed run... So if I waited till fall/winter to pop again, I risk the chance of running out of meds before I harvest more sensi. I'm not risking that again!

So, new plan is in play. I was, on original thought, gonna run the rest of both those packs (BICxMHP and TDC) at 12/12 from seed to give them another chance (since they all looked and smelled great before the nanner situation, which were almost exclusively/entirely on lowers down on overly stretched and poorly trained plants, with no under/side lighting...so kinda blaming myself now), but decided I'm not gonna go that route at this point. I do plan on revisiting them at some point in the future in some capacity tho...

I have a couple vegged out cuts I can toss in there for time being. Also will drop some new fems to ensure I have some sensi meds in the works and on the way to save the day!

So, gonna drop anywhere from 1-3 of each in the days to come, depending on how I feel at the time, and some other factors I still need to figure out. It's still a bit of a rough draft of my thoughts on the situation and puts some other previous plans on the back burner, pushing them out a few more months which bothers me a bit, but I gotta roll with the punches here...

I don't weigh anymore either, been a while since, just judge by jar nowadays, and which jars lasts me for how long. The grow game throws variables to the math that too.

Thanks Kold! But, my timing was off and I really should have been more proactive. Again they were pretty sweet looking and smelling up to this point and I do wanna give them another go at some point in the future...I just need to pop some of those fems to secure my stash to ensure I don't run out again.

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to seeing what these fems bring. Do you have any experience with them by chance?

I haven’t personally run those but been wanting to pick up some Irie genetics for awhile. They aren’t stocked where I usually shop though. We know those 3 Thirteen and 10fold are heaters and I’m sure you are going to crush it.

I’m there with ya with the bad luck got thrip for the first time my last run than got covid so the garden got neglected in my 4x4 I had 14 plants in 1 gallon pots every single plant is full of seeds but it’s whatever i guess I have a bunch of seeds now lol oh and I cleaned all my tents sprayed everywhere with spinosad and today found thrip on all my plants again

I know there's good stuff to be found in those just judging by the two I popped, which is why I'm still interested in running them again? I've been wanting to try some Irie myself. Scooped that pack up for I like like $35 from some dude in IG. I'm excited to try the 3Thirteen gear for myself. I've drooled a lot seeing Red's along other members grows here!

And, thanks, I really hope the 10Folds turn out anything like the mom, but hoping for better? wishful thinking, I know I know. It was my first reversal attempt and after doing that and realizing what actually takes place in the plant, shift of hormones and all, I'm still kinda scratching my head on how it was even possible to begin with... I'm not mad tho ?

What's up Meat! Those lil bastards!! Yeah, you've had quite the rough patch lately too. Hopefully you can get a grip on them sooner than later. If you haven't tried already, Lost Coast Plant Therapy works really good for lots of pests?

She's a lil malnourished and root bound but still praying!

I have 3 cuttings of her that just started showing roots...so time to put her to work and see what she's about! Just uppotted to a 1 gal and chopped her back leaving just the top 2 nodes on each branch so she didn't get unruly on me.

Looks funny, I know, but she'll bounce back in now time! Gonna let her get settled in her new shoes for a week or so and toss her in the 4x4 to flower.

What's up brotha, thanks for stopping by! I've got cups and pots randomly laying around all over?

So, WhippedOranges is a chuck I did a year or two back. It was a cross of DoubleDose by Greenline Organics (mother) x WhippedBanana by Enlightened Genetics (father). I popped some of those seeds earlier last year. I then made more seeds with the #5 plant from that run by pollinating it by a M99 male by Howard Crane via Sebring Seeds that I was running alongside it. Popped a couple of those seeds at the beginning of this year. One I believe was eaten by pill bugs and this one nearly was also... Was chomped at the base halfway through and was falling over... But I nursed, and got it to continue on with life. And, here she is what you see today.

She's proven to be super hardy thus far... Although being neglected, malnourished, root bound, etc, still no balls/dicks in sight and she's still praying. I'm excited to see how she actually performs in flower!
