Yeah, I was reading about that and it can be very dangerous. I've been running it on low for roughly 20 minutes at a time a couple times a day with door closed. Then after a bit I go in and open the bathroom window and turn on exhaust fan to air it out. Seems to be working, room smells like fresh chlorine afterwards. Thanks for the heads-up tho and kind words👊

It's so fkn stupid. I work 40+ hours a week and only really home during the evenings...and I'm not smoking indoors but apparently the land lord has received "multiple complaints" of these smells "emanating from my unit and making it's way into my neighbors common areas." And I need to "stop all smoking within the building and premises, immediately." I was looking into plants that smell like cannabis that I could put outside cause I remember my friend's parents in highschool had a plant on their porch that smelled like weed, but obviously wasn't...and be like "hey man, it's just my regular ass plant, not cannabis your smelling!" Put it right next to the fence...idk just stupid. I've lived here for the past 9 years and I've never had any issues til these current neighbors came along...Looks great Mo, really sucks you’re still dealing with Karen. And my smoking, anything, has been cut down to the least I've ever smoked in my life trying to be respectful but apparently they've still made multiple complaints without ever coming back to me to say they're still smelling stuff. But man, we live in a crowded neighborhood and I'm not the only one that smokes around here. We all have immediate neighbors to our left and right. Neighbor's house on the other side of me smells like blunts a lot of the time cause they smoke in their garage....Immediate neighbors behind us and on both sides, neighbors on all fronts across the street...smoke smell could be coming from any and all directions but I'm being singled out for some reason and being threatened with eviction...anyway, the scrubber seems to be getting rid of any and all smells, so hopefully it'll be the last I hear about it.

Random grab from the bag. Hairy ass nugs...but under that sweater she's rocking, she's actually pretty damn sticky, smelly, and frosty! She was nugged up from frame up, each branch was essentially budded from top to bottom... Interesting/complex smells, looking forward to smoke and high... And unless that part is a bust, which I highly doubt, I'd definitely run this again!🤙

She was so close to being done I didn't have the heart to chop her with the others. So, I've been limping her along in the veggie tent for the past week to let her ripen up a bit. Not really what she could have or should have been given my current circumstances... Spent first couple days, after chopping others, in 24 hours of light cause I forgot to turn there lights off, then a couple in the dark cause I forgot to turn em back on... Don't have the timer set on that one right now... But she looks ready enough
So, she's coming down tonight🤙

I agree 100% Amber trichs are overrated IMO. Nothing hits harder than all cloudy or a clear/ cloudy mixture.
I think this is what has happened in the community- With the newly legal states, new growers want a solid answer of when to harvest, and telling them to wait until they see a lot of amber keeps them from harvesting too early. It's been repeated so much, even experienced growers think it's written in stone. Shit 25 yrs ago we planned harvest by looking at every other aspect of the plant, besides trichs (I didn't even own a loupe or know it was a thing) smell, pistil recession, leaf coloration, lower water uptake, etc.
You take something like a ECSD and let it run until you get a good % ambers and it will ruin it IMO- Dull taste, no headband effect, no euphoria. The only thing I would let run until 5 or 10% amber would be something I wanted for sleep and nothing else.

Wassup gang! Been a lil quiet lately, just working through the days trying to keep my sanity. Just recently picked up a lil personal smoke filter that works surprisingly well!
Still can't smoke joints at home. But at least I can take bong snaps and not worry about the neighbor smelling it. So I was able to finally sample some...snap time!
SlymerSnacks#1 smells really dank with some gas on the back end. Not really able to pin anything more specific down as I try to hurry up and close the bag and consume the flower before too much smell gets out into the air. Plus, with the snaps going straight into my lungs and then straight through the filter I can't really get a feel for the flavor or aroma since it gets instantly muted. But, I plan on buying some fresh rolling papers so I could roll up and just burn on the way home from work in the evenings.

Grabbed a new toy recently to help fill the void.
Been playing with it quite a bit... Couple times a week. Already did smoked some brisket, tri-tip, ribs, and chicken thighs. I haven't taken any pics of finished products yet. But today I'm doing my first pork shoulder for pulled pork and snapped one right before it went on this morning.
I went a lil light in the seasoning since they are new spices I'm using and this is my first time smoking this cut...trial run to see how it turns out and adjust from there.

Thought I snapped a pic of it all shredded up (came clean off the bone) but can't find it. But, I've been enjoying there leftovers on the daily... Yesterday's sammich, topped with some Dickie's BBQ sauce😋

When I broke them up I was picking up on like an apricot/peachy type vibe. Twisted up a J. Busted it out on the ride home and without me even mentioning that (or anything) my daughter (who I usually have to ask what she smells and a lot of the time I just get an 🤷 I can't tell what it is...) but she instantly said "it smells like peaches!" So I took a dry pull off the J and it tasted like those peach rings candies! She did and thought the same thing too. It was fruit snacky in smell while alive, but nothing definitive that I could pin down. Wasn't really expecting that peach twist but I don't not like it😄
Smokes and tastes real nice, good focused-energetic type of effects👌 My lower back has been very stiff and hurting all day long but, after burning that, it is much more at ease now and easier to walk around more comfortably so that's really nice too👊 She could have easily gone another week if I didn't have to shut down so soon. Wish I could've gotten a better look. And I'm sure the peach it landed on currently, with being an early harvest (along with intensity of effects), could've and would've changed and evolved further if we just had a lil more time on the vine.
This was my first time experiencing a peachy pheno. @Smokieokie have you come across one in these yet? I can't recall but what types of fruit smells have you come across in these so far again? Sorry if I've already asked, and you've already answered, just can't remember at the moment.
Welp... Lights don't come on til 8 so I won't even be able to see my lone plant for a while still. And all I can really do to get my mind off not popping/growing is thinking about what I'm gonna throw on the smoker next...🤔 hmmm...time to look up some more recipe ideas.

That's freaking awesome man 👊. I ask my kids the same thing and get the same kinda answers from my oldest but my youngest is gonna be a connoisseur, she can pick em out lol.
But nope, I haven't came across anything peachy, but I want to. From the ones I grew out I had two different phenos, one had a lime-ish kinda taste with a bit of gas while the others both had a more fruit snacks lean to them with just a hint of lime on the exhale. I just put three more in pots from paper towels yesterday, gonna do a bit more digging in them for sure.
I'm really glad your liking it and glad you gave them a chance. I am happy about all the fruit snacks crosses so far, but the Slymer Snacks is the one I really did it for. Definitely gonna be more to come from that line.
Hope you can get back to growing soon but until then I'll enjoy the pics of food lol. Might have to throw on some corn on the cob, taters and a brisket 🤤

I really hope I can get back to it sooner rather than later too man... not being able to grow a medicinal/therapeutic plant and having to hide and sneak around like I'm a fucking child all over again even though I'm a grown man with my own place has kinda been fkn with my mental a bit lately. But I'm trying to not let it bother me too much... My bad... Anyway...
😋 Ya I've actually been eyeballing the corn on the cob to throw on there lately too and it's on the list to grab at the store tomorrow. Last week I did like a lil slew of taters, carrots, and onions slathered in butter then sprinkled w/ some brown sugar, Italian herbs blend, and dashed with a spice blend I recently picked up called 'Potato Slayer - Tater Flavor Creator' and threw that on for a bit. That came out pretty good, daughter ate it, said she liked it too, and she's down to eat again.
Everything I've made in there so far has come out so much better than any previous cooking method I've ever tried. Plus, I've never actually done brisket (but have now, twice) or pulled pork but I was able to do both of those cuts successfully, even on the first try...and only gonna get better (as I get better familiar/acquainted with the smoker and how the different cuts cook and the different woods, spices, herbs, and flavors to toy around with) so I'm kinda excited about that. It's a lot more time consuming for sure, but it's most definitely worth the wait💯
I'll post as much plant content as I can as time and circumstances permit... Thinking of that, I'll try to post up a macro shoot from both SlymerSnacks phenos over the days to come 🤙

Agh man, that was a while back, lol, but was fun while it lasted. I ended up getting a bug infestation from some strawberry plants I brought in (poor quarantine/cleaning efforts in my part) that wrecked some plants...that one included. I would like to try again though and I have one on my counter now that I may give another go with👊

The newest rack right before it went on the smoker a few days ago.
Didn't take pics after cause it was getting late and we was hongray! But snapped one before warming up the leftovers the following day.
Would've smoked a lil longer too, to give a lil more color and tenderness but again, it was getting late and...ya know, hongray! We'll hit the sweet spot next time (starting early and no rushing 😉). Still came out bomb af, could've been more tender but tender enough, and rub was so flavorful I didn't even need any kind of sauce... Getting better👍
