Im looking to buy a good but affordable vaporizer. Im not talking about those little shit piles for flavored juices, I mean a real vaporizer like the "Volcano" or something along those lines.
I'd like mine to have a digital temp readout as well. What should I get and how much is it?

Did you ever get this? The Arizer Extreme Q is $169 on Planet of the Vapes
yupppp Its nice once you get it dialed in. The temps are very different when comparing side by side with the volcano digital... But once I found a sweet spot the balloons are always a hit when family is over.. I actually wound up buying straight from Arizer full price and got a bunch of freebies... I am pretty happy even though I dont use it as much as I should...

Nice!! I’ve been eyeing one of those for two years but 2 years ago I bought the OG Solo from them and don’t use it as much as I should. I love it but prefer joints over everything

My stortz & Bickle crafty was starting to give me some issues a couple of weeks ago so i thought i would give Arizer a go ( Solo ll). I have just had one session with it so far but this is a nice unit very smooth fairly cool hit. The only thing i don't like so far is there are a lot of adjustments to make and only three buttons to do so  . I am sure i will get it dialed in. So many of the cheaper hand held's can make for a hot vapor and not very pleasant. I am impressed so far with the unit seems to be well made. I might have to order a couple of spare wands:)

This is a pretty fantastic vape. Latest of everything.

This is a fantastic vape just always use buds (those oil things they give you are bullshit and ruin the coils inside and you cant clean them).
Works great, heats up fast and has a ceramic element.
on sale 150 CDN.

That site is good for researching vapes. They have them rated by vapor quality...that is always my priority and from there i look at the vape itself.
Ideally they are better if you can clean out the chamber that holds the herb (Take it out and clean it). but that 721 is still rocking 2 years later...i just need a new bit for the top.

The mighty and the crafty are always solid performers with high reviews.

I will try and do all vapes tomorrow!....i ruined it at 3am with that first doob...and then i smoked a doob and then i smoked 2 more.

Here’s a chart that may help ya dial in what temps you want to mess with. Not sure on the accuracy of it

We have 2 volcanos (i think around $400) both non digi and 3 or 4 Mightys (around $299) floating around here.
I use my Mighty every day,,, and night. Used Volcanos since '09, never had to do anything except consumables for 11 years.
The mightys since '14, 1 warranty issue and they replaced with new unit.
Storz and Bickel have great equipment.

I am liking my Arizer more all the time. My Volcano is awesome too but for a quick puff the Arizer is easier, I am happy to have it. You have the digital version? I bought the analog, there was a good sale & I was gun-shy from the disappointment of the Firefly. I am usually at the "4" setting.

I have only had to clean it once so far, that is a well thought out vapor path.

Alright fine guys I’ll fire mine up for a few balloons... I’m about to start trimming newayz... could use a good buzz.... on second thought... maybe just leave the whip on... this could be a while.... one thing I do like about this Arizer... the bowls are nice and big... I can get 40 minutes or more out of a single sesh on the whip.... the different fan settings are nice for an assisted draw... image.jpg

I might have to get a crafty when they go on sale. :)

The volcano is industrial. Sometimes i leave the thing on for hours if im using it so i can just fill a bag in 30 seconds and not wait.

I really want something for dog walking that has capacity...like say an oily hash thumber dog walker....london fog sort of clouds.

How is the crafty for big clouds? After just looking it up...disregard the question.

i know what my next vape is...the volcano in a portable...????

Expensive is relative. I spend a lot of time smoking doobs and if i can get that effect in a hand held its worth it. And i forgot its the people that made the volcano...15% pride sale. Im proud to get a discount....i think thats going in the buy column. They are backordered untiil July 14 so it can come in the mail as a surprise !

:D

The volcano...i cough more than a doob. Does anyone else have that happen?

What do you use on the dial?

I might have to stop filling 3 bags at a time but thats what the thing holds. After the 2nd bag its more than a doob i think. I usually have to sit down for bag #3 but mama didnt raise no quitters.

Has anyone tried both the mighty and the crafty? I will pester the cheapest vendor for a discount. I dont mind walking with the mighty so i may just pull the plug today..out of stock everywhere.

All vape today...and the vape can bake!

I start out at 6..first bag is ok, 2nd is a crusher. Usually get about 4 bags/packing. There have been times that this was cranked up to 7 to squeeze a couple more bags out.

I will turn it down. Kief hash at 7....well if there were an 11 on the dial its like that :D

And i pulled the plug after i found a discount code. I think the mighty can fit in my pocket....or i will wear a fanny pack or something. It will be the new dog walker and i am never buying papers again.

I have enough left to last until it arrives. :D I am tired of running out of lighters.

@Baja.Beaches are you using the screens inside the wand on the Solo ll ? So far i have been using it without the screen with no issues. I am really liking the solo ll so far.

The little cup on the Extreme Q and the other bench one (i forget the name) is also useful on handhelds for kief (the screen).
I have a solo and an air

For the whip if you suck hard you want the screen...or grind fine.

For the bag (the extreme ?) the bag catches the crap BUT the hot embers will perforate it in time without the screen. They clean easy with ispo

I almost wore one of those out after i tried an o2 and cheapos which all sucked. The arizer is great ! and the price cant be beat.

For the Solo I really did not see the need for screens with the vapor path above the heat source. I have not used one at all so far & all seems good. Keeps a good charge & works while charging...I like it a lot.

I did not realize that the screens were in the box so i started without them and then discovered them( the wand has a glass base with four small holes for anyone wondering). I really like the unit and so easy to clean. I guess my lungs are not strong enough to suck up any material :ROFLMAO: . Very long lasting battery also very fast heat up time. I ordered a couple extra wands for convenience. I also discovered that the plastic tube that stores the wand makes a good container to store alcohol that way you can just drop the wand in there when done for the evening and rinse the next day. I might be a convert to the Arizer ll as i have been using the Stortz & Bickle Crafty for close to 10 years now.

I use my Mighty day in and day out, actually have 2 and on our 4th. About 5 to 6 loads per charge. Great watranty service, had to use it once.
Volcanos dont get as much use as they used to but not selling them any time soon either.

In my typical overdo it fashion I bought the bundle with the solo which included extra wands but I have not used them yet. If I ever go anyplace with it I probably would but I don't get out much lately. My volcano hasn't been fired up much lately but I have mainly been smoking alone during this pandemic. Not near as fun as puffing with friends but I am happy to be well stocked with fun ingestion methods. Like my Solo. (y)
