So I guess it’s time to show everyone what I’ve been working on the last couple months.

Where do I even start ?
Ok so here goes, A couple months ago I was looking through some hydro journals on here and another forum when my idea just slammed into me.
?— Hydro is less hands on and easier then Drain to waste coco/soil.
My reasoning was because I only have to change the Rez once every week or two and besides that I just let it do it’s thing. ? boy was I confused! Yes I only have to change the water every so often but FUCK LUGGING A 7 gal TOTE FROM GROW TO THE TUB AND BACK! Not to mention if there is something wrong in the Rez I have to change the whole thing… LETS JUST SAY LESSON LEARNED…. The hard way! ? I am also stubborn and have to build everything myself because to keep it’s more meaningful and I can trust it better.

Set Up-
2x2x5 Mars hydro tent
Mars Hydro TSW1000 LED (150w)
Homemade Rez (varies in sizes)
Blue Planet Farmers Pride Nutrients

Blue Planet Magic Rootz (microbe)
4” Vivosun exhaust fan w/carbfilter
Germination- Soak 24hr, then paper towel for 36hr then strait to Root Riot plugs until ?
(Light used is 13.5w LED until Veg)
Seedling- Placed rooted plugs into home made bubble cloner until roots started to tangle.

Once they were at the 3rd node the roots started to tangle and I wanted to avoid that at least until I got them to their final home in the 7gal.
So I transplanted them into Folgers Coffee containers. I saw someone on here use one as a cloner/ seed starter. I can’t remember who but thanks to whoever you were!

After transplanting into Folgers I had more room in the tent open up Also the tops got a little big for the Folgers cans so I decided to just put them in the 7Gal tote but this is where I ran into problems.

Day 44 the Gelato is getting some buds on it but also has some deficiencies. Chunkadelic is the most vigorous leafy auto I’ve ever grown. ⬇️

Buds at 44 days on gelato. The Chunkadelic has just started showing sex so it’s gonna be a late one the pack said 75/85 days but I’m definitely feeling it’s gonna be longer. ⬆️
Chunk A Delic started to flower and man are those gonna be some tight dense bud. That nodal spacing is super close. Below Day 50
Day 50 that gelato is really packing on the weight now. I defoliated the shit out of that Chunkadelic. I can remember a good 4-5 times. Below

Chunkadelic has a bunch of popcorn buds and looks like it needs another defoliation. They say not to defoliate autos but if I wouldn’t of this whole tent would be one giant over grown bush. That thing is crazy. (day 64) below

Outdoor bud from me and a buddies outdoor we did together. He did most of the work I was just the Supervisor lol. But he knocked it outside of the park with how bad the bud rot is this year on the coast.
we only had one plant get that really bad amd sadly it was the greasiest terp monster of them all. I managed to cut a bunch out and saved it. The ones pictured are green crack and UK Cheese from some online Seedbank.
We bucked and rough wet trimmed them. Him and his girl wet a little crazy but it will help them dry better so all good!

I was extremely surprised to see so many branches and fan leaves. She alternated from 4 branches to 3 then back to 4. I’m hoping she starts to stretch and gives a copious amount of flower
stem rub: earthy doesnt even come close this gal is pure rotten earth and wet basement with a lingering wormy musk.

This strain is living up to its name. She got chunky as all hell and is just coated in frost. I’m pretty sure it has grown 3-5x it’s size in the last few weeks. Very glad I saved a few of these.

Above are 3x different plants all the same strain. 2x seem to be the same Pheno (pic #1 has both in front of eachother) they both are darker a bit shorter and mich more trichome heavy then the other Pheno (pic2) which is much much bigger and more bright green with a bit lest frost and bigger intermodal spacing. These were a gift when I very first started growing and went through a hard time. The great @Amos Otis gifted these and a few others we will be seeing in this journal sooner or later. I wish I’d of popped them sooner but I’m also glad I waited and didn’t waste these beans on my old nutrient regimen. I don’t feel they would be doing nearly as well.

If I didn’t know what day this was on and that it wasn’t pollinated, I’d think those were seeds. lol I’m pretty stoked on how well these girls are turning out. Does anyone know if they are supposed to be this dark? I am using the proper nutes I normally use around this time except it’s pushing them to look like they have a ćubuvvviidxcu

Well I fucked up……..
So we have had some really cold days out of nowhere here where I’m at and I decided to set my tent up for winter making some ventilation go back to the tent. Well yesterday snd today it got above 65 outside and inside my tent it hit 111F luckily I noticed how warm my room was and got too it before it ruined all my other plants but here is one of the Dubble Sundaes all crisp. I gave her a bunch of water I was gonna spray the leaves but don’t want to mess up the buds. The other two Dubble sundae were a little wilted but not like this one at all. As for the Banana Punch X Southern Bananas I. Pretty sure they loved it cause they look excellent still and weren’t effected at all. I did rerun my intake exhaust from outside the room into the tent again so maybe it will cool her down and get us some good flower anyway.
