Cool man. I top at about 8-10 nodes and keep those as main branches. fills the room well. Hard to believe I've got 5 wildly different strains in there.

Hmm.. sort of. I'll be feeding about 1.2-1.3 base before I start adding bloom ratio nutes, Then when I start to blend the two I'll use about 1ec base (including 0.2-0.3 starting water) and 0.5 ec bloom 1-4-5.. for a total of 1.5ec. maintain ec in the rootzone as close to 1.5 as possible until the end of stretch, then I drop it back to 1.2 - 1.3 or so. I'm currently using 0.8 ec base/grow and .2 Bloom, mainly so low as I'm finding I need to feed a lot less with the added microbes in there.
Had to flag this stuff, I'll try it soon, I already have similar training methods so now that my heat & humidity are semi controlled & I've got a better idea of girls I'm gonna keep, I can start really seeing differences in lights & nutrients. Lights 1st though, still working on distances lol

Man, just noticed Ol'Dirtbag has a pretty bad reputation here hahaha. I took a couple weeks off the forums. When did the rep numbers appear?
We're working the numbers my man. Always grinding and hustling here at pH to make it even better (y) :phenohunt: welcome back, and hope you enjoy the new functionality.

Thanks @Gentlemancorpse for the guidance on the info link ?

I enjoy stopping in the forum and reading through threads and sharing, but Im extremely busy and dont have a lot of time these days, so a low rep Is probably where I'll stay. Cest la vie.
It feels like a scoring system, I never thought about member profiles being ranked in terms of popularity like that.

I dont really think of it as popularity because the points are largely added by the site staff. Its more a way of tracking contributions to the site. I actually like it (and I'm at the same rep level as yourself).

On RIU it drives me nuts that a user gets the "Well-Known Grower" tag after like 100 posts, and stays there for 1000s of posts/likes afterwards. There's no quick way for new growers to tell if they're getting advice from an actual well-known grower, or just some schmoe who posted 100 times in their first day on the forum.

I guess this is where I see it as being potentially misleading. A persons rep score really doesnt say much about their experience or knowledge. Only their contributions to the site.
If someone were to post a problem for example and I offer advice, It might be silly to ignore it just because my rep score is only 101. Ya know?
Anyway, I dont really care one way or another lol. I was just a bit confused about how it worked and what it was for.

I dont pay attention to points & scores lol. I've been nonstop busy since all this virus crap anyway, with so many people staying home it just means I get to work more (yay me fma I was hoping for time off hahaha). I will have more time to visit other threads after I get moved in august & my replacement for 1 of my jobs is trained in couple weeks (been trying to quit that job for about 6 months now), I havent been giving as much as I should lately on either site

Agreed, and likewise. I've been full time and more since covid, full time career and just started a business on top of that, plus growing, I just dont have the time to be a top contributor.

Not everyone is going to like everything that is implemented on the site and we understand that. Just because we now have rep pts doesn't mean that it takes away from your quality posts and content. It was implemented because we saw many members posting +1 rep for certain postings. It is not an indicator of someone's skill or knowledge. It is more of a means to acknowledge the person's contributions (and respect of those contributions) to the community. It kinda works both ways. If you're not here that often to post, then how could you have a higher rep? Which is why we are trying to help level it out with rep boosts and whatnot as posted in Site News. The rep pts should in no way discourage people, or have them feel like they're "less of a member."

Thanks for that, honestly I think a lot gets lost in translation between how I say things in my head and how they are perceived in word form. I'm a really sarcastic joking kind of person and most of my posts are said with a smile and a chuckle. I'm just not around here enough to fully understand how things operate so dont mind me lol... This is an awesome site, I dont think the rep points are bad, I just didnt understand what function they served and how they are meant to be interpreted. All good bro!

It all plays out between the lines.
A good friend is always happy to see you, regardless of the time between.
A new business? Way to go, mang. Giver.
Manage that mayhem, tidy up, and flash a photo of that floor.
I get a smile and a chuckle from the nudeness.
Stay cool. Visit when you can.
